Zambrero Warragul reviews
14Was excited that they opened a store in Warragul since I visit the one in Traralgon often, but was disappointed by the serving sizes. Good flavours, just too small.
Nice clean trendy looking place friendly staff good service, unfortunately the food is tasteless no flavour a burrito that is wrap full of lettuce and they don't have real chips on sale.
Luke warm burrito at its finest so bland even with extra sauce had 0 flavour I shall pass!
Just heavenly tasty! We got nachos and a large burrito and just cant get over it! Best for quality!
It didn’t seem over price for me for the quantity and quality
We have eaten here a few times and it has always been good.
Staff are friendly and take extra care if you tell them you are Coeliac.
My Daughter loves the kids bowl.
We will definitely be back.
Walked in and waited over 5 minutes to get served, then they served people who entered after us and then when we finally get served are told that you have to wait in another area to get served whoch means waiting at the back of a queue that wasnt there when we entered. No signs telling you where to get served. Won't bother returning. First impression was rubbish
I ordered a nacho bowl and it was amazing very well made amazing service friendly polite knows what they are doing very quick the young lady Sophie was amazing great job all around amazing place great food best place in Warragul
Flavourful high quality Mexican food. We are a super fussy foodie family and love to eat high quality food full of freshness and taste and this place nailed it for us. We came back from Europe recently and in our whole time there we didn’t eat anything as delicious as this Mexican in Warrigul. We are so spoiled for food in Australia and this place is a great example of this! For what you’re getting the prices as more than reasonable. Wish we lived closer and could make this a regular! So so delicious!
Felt sorry for the staff not their fault first of all.
Food was weak, poor flavours and served Luke warm. Most of the dishes is lettuce
Very little meat which should provide the flavour in Mexican food. Found out at the till that they refuse legal tender ie cash to pay for the food. Should be notified prior to ordering. Read the reviews and see everyone gets a generic reply so that would suggest care factor of zero.
3/5 stars for flavour, the serving size was too small for the money spent. I ordered a large burrito and everything was the same size as regular but over double the rice (should just call it extra rice burrito), was also luke warm/cold. Salad bowl is mostly iceberg lettuce. Service was distracted, kept forgetting order. Had to be reminded to put in all the ingredients listed - like jalapenos. There was a queue out the door and of the three serving staff only one was helping customers orders, the other two were having a good ol' chat and giggling with each other. This place has nothing on the franchise brands like mad mex in the city.
I got a bowl with pulled beef. The lump of beef was a huge piece of pure hard gristle. Literally no meat. 3/4 of the bowl was lettuce. The flavour was not nice, had a sweet hint to it, not Mexican flavour. I asked for beans but got refried bean paste. For $16 the meal size wasn’t enough for a child. The service was rushed, distracted and felt armature. Never again. 0 out of 10.
The food was a bit expensive, but other than that the customer service was amazing, and the food was great.
Nice decor. Service a bit clunky (store is still new). Much smaller serving in the bowl than my experiences at other stores - regular bowl hardly reached the lip of the container. I wouldn't mind, but for nearly$16.00, it is disappointing.
Young man with the curly brown hair, and the lovely girl with the nose piercings, absolutely carried the team tonight, spectacular service from these two
