Zambrero Shepparton

Very filling and fresh. The food was seasoned better than most Mexican/tex mex in Australia. They should allow you to sample the lamb, pork, chicken, beef, etc.for this reason they get 4 stars. I will visit this location again.

4 workers on and only 1 out front making orders while there’s people waiting for pickup. Sat there waiting until I had to remind them of my online order. Was then told oh I seen that one and went to start it but then did something else instead and forgot. Shocking service which is a shame cause it’s the only Mexican option in shepp.

Shocking service today! Poor guy serving by himself. Not all ingredients toppings prepared and customers walking out behind me. Other staff were seen making themselves something to eat and sitting down while explaining to customers waiting that someone would be with them shortly.

Just wanted to give a big shoutout to the Zambreros staff who were working tirelessly during a busy lunch period. I had great service from Hayley who wore a big smile despite having some unreasonable customers waiting in line. Keep up the great work!:)

Burrito was made perfectly, the server was friendly and happy to add more sauce for me, and it was just the right amount of busy. Very clean and good vibe.

I was ordering 3 taco for 3 people. He got one correct and then he started putting all the toppings on the other two, even when the other person with me said no for it. It was yummy though and other ones have better service than this one.

I drop by Zambrero in most towns when passing through on road trips

Went out of my way to detour into Shepparton, because the brand Zambrero has a reputation for filling, quality and nutritious meals.
The burritos are great takeaway food to eat to go, especially for someone with food intolerance
The burritos are usually easy to eat for someone with a beard too

Unfortunately, this branch of the franchise does not meet these expectations and was a frustrating eating experience.

The burritos were cold, soggy and poorly wrapped.
The burrito was so poorly wrapped that most of it leaked and fell on the ground, making it too difficult to eat on the go, and for someone with a beard.

I had watched the staff prepare the burrito.
The wrap was heated for less than a minute after being removed from the fridge, and portion spoons were dropped several times in the ingredients area

Before this poor experience, I've never considered walking out of a restaurant before without paying
I regret not walking out
After this experience, I will be thinking twice before dropping into any Zambrero

The store was clean, the separate ingredients were ok, and seemed like a decent branch of the franchise.
However, the franchise needs to improve on remaining consistent with the Zambrero brand to deliver the quality of food comparable to other Zambrero branches

Awesome food! Little pricey but you get a decent amount of food for what you pay. There was one girl there that was really lovely and seemed to know what she was doing but I wasn't served by her unfortunately. The person I was served by seemed like a complete sourpuss who clearly hates her job

Love the vegan options, wish they had more sauce options but otherwise really really good!

Good food and okay prices, but Web menu is awful and they're completely incapable of having an order ready ahead of time - even with over 20min notice, still had to wait 15min in store

Found a bug in my order from Shepparton Zambrero today. Very disappointing. Will never be going back there.

Young girl that served me was lovely and helpful once I said I'd never been here before.
Menu was expected, usual boring run of the mill choices.
We got superbowls and they were filling but not overly tasty. For $15 ish dollars each if you didn't pick one filling (comes with) you didn't get more of the other.
At least the music was a good level.
Would I go back, No.
Would I recommend, well I wouldn't say don't go as everyone has their own tastes.
I just wish the menu had a few different options, ones that are not fun of the mill or expected. I'm sure with the ingredients already there other Mexican style dishes could be added.

Woman serving me did not listen to what I asked for and made something completely different to what I asked. Wasn’t until she was done I realised he had misunderstood what I asked for and on top of that she charged me $10 for extras that were included with what I originally asked for. Costing me $40 for a bowl and burrito. Never seen her in there before I think she was new. Had dark hair.

Disappoint, took a list in to order was simple a burrito and a quesadilla, got home had burrito and some other kind of burrito was not happy and thought to myself well home now just eat it and was terrible.

Please ensure staff know that kids bowls are still available. Even when presented with an email from head office the server did not want to make one. It was only when I asked that for the manager did she go and discuss and advise that they will do it …. “Just this once! ”

Good Mexican style food. Would recommend. Just don't get Vanilla Pepsi Max. Firyfloss flavour dose not go with Mexican. Haahah

Love the food here! Clean, fresh, good service. Always come here with my family for some delicious healthy food. Definitely recommend the burritos with lamb or chicken, so good

We received the wrong food. Did the right thing and called the restaurant, they immediately threw the responsibility back on Menulog and told us they could not fix it. When I asked why they can't fix it I was told humans are allowed to make mistakes, yes humans are I did not at any point say they couldn't I simply wanted to know how to get the right food as it's inedible for our household. The person on the phone let her emotions get the better of her and when I asked to speak I was met with "I won't talk to anyone that is going to tell at me" I can honestly say I worked over 16 years in customer service and never raised my voice one! I am shocked at this service but if the staff are acting like this it's clear to see they are lacking support from higher up. Maybe some training would be beneficial. I won't be dining with Zambreros Shepparton again.

Went there for quick snack before the drinks.
The place is nice and clean and follows COVID rules.
I ordered nachos and my partner orders bowls. The food was made freshly in front of us and was delicious.
The have courtyard that back.
There service and staff was good.

Worse service I ever had waited over an hour for food to come out and half of the food was missing and cold, I don’t care how busy you are service is very poor
