It is okay for a quick meal. The meat could be better quality. You can choose your own toppings in a subway style type of service. On the expensive side for a meal that could have better quality ingredients. Shame, as I had high expectations. Servings are small and sparse vs high price. Ps. Photo of broken bowl food was served in.

Way better than mad mex, they actually melt the cheese here.got it delivered and nachos were way crispier than getting it made in front of me at mad mex.bit of a late delivery tho

Normally this place is good but they switched out the ingredients (got old, limp and browning iceberg lettuce instead of cos) and left expensive ingredients out last time (no avocado). Maybe it was a one-off but given it was an order through a delivery app and this is what places do.it's pretty insulting when you are paying $40 plus. If it happens again they'll lose a customer.

My girlfriend and I visited tonight keen to get excellent burritos. What we received was anything but. When were met at the counter by a lovely server where we explained that my misso is recently gluten and dairy free so she got a veg IQ burrito. This is already obscenely over priced as she swapped out the IQ rice for white rice and asked for a half serving as the Black rice tortilla is fragile and falls apart easily ruining the wrapped meal experience. I asked for just the regular burrito. Next thing we know we were handed off to another lady who was no where near as nice as the prior. Her very sharp and stunted responses and questions felt very rude and unenthusiastic. My girlfriend had to politely ask her for the second scoop of quacomole (which comes with the IQ) and was met with a destinct sigh as if the effort for scooping quac was as hard as climbing Everest. Not only was this done as if we were burdening the poor woman but also the light smearing of quac was pathetic. Hass avocado's are only $1.50 at the moment, yet the Army style rationing of this precious green mash, felt like it was worth more than gold itself. After I received enough cheese to only feed an infant (the smallest amount of cheese) and the lightest drizzle of sour cream, we were passed of to the next girl who had to have a powerpoint 3 day course to understand the status our burritos were up to. After the debrief, we recieved a pitiful amount of salsa's before being once again hand balled off to another girl who had zero idea of what was going on. ONLY! To be charged for white rice even though she got it instead of the more expensive IQ rice and also got less than what you should've received. Now we have both worked an extremely long day and from early hours, all I wanted was a burrito and instead all I left with was a definite in my mind to opt to pay $10 and get an actual decent meal at grilled. $30+ dollars to get ripped off. Someone needs to seriously restructure the management and customer management of this establishment, also god damn just put more food on the burrito, roughly $13 for a ration of food. Im ex military and we ate better in our field ration packs. Please fix this.

Tasty and delicious food that is good for the soul, easily the best Mexican restaurant in Geelong. Great service as well.

Food is absolutely delicious here, would have been a 5 rating but the staff can be rude sometimes

Ordered delivery online - arrived within the hour and was so delicious! Have ordered from here a few times now and will continue to do so - unbelievably tasty! And such good value.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, however I have had much better Mexican dish before so I’d say 3 star sounds more fair.

Upon Victoria being locked down once again, my partner and I decided to make our way to Zamberos in Geelong West. Previously I’ve never had any problems until now!

I ordered a ‘power burrito’ that’s supposed to have ‘50percent’ more filling than a regular burrito. I saw the employee filling the burritos where she filled the burritos with the same amount of ‘scoops’ (fillings). I asked her if the power burrito is supposed to have more filling and she said yes, I then asked “why did she put the same amount of filling in both burritos”She replied, “I didn’t”.

I wouldn’t of mind if she had made a mistake and said okay, let me fix it I’m sorry, however she lied about it when I watched her make both of the burritos.

Questioning what I saw, I thought I’d give her the benefit of doubt, upon opening our burritos, it appeared smaller than the regular burrito my partner had gotten.

Disappointing Zammies!

I'm totally obsessed with this place, I live in armstrong creek and will happily drive down to eat but please please can you open up another restaurant in Waurn Ponds or even the new shopping centre on Torquay highway, you wont regret it!

UPDATE: my partner and I order from here often because the food is so delicious and fresh. We haven't had a single wrong order since I last posted. Awesome!

The food is delicious and fresh, but order accuracy is very hit-and-miss, both in-store and online.

Taste is great but the quantity of food is getting less and less.kids meal size. Ordered one bowl and one IQ bowl which says double serve of guacamole! They both looks the same (except the smallest quantity of guacamole in the IQ) There are more lettuce than beef and rice, so you have the impression of a full bowl!

Ordered a beef burrito with cheese. There was no cheese at all and almost no beef. Since there was basically no meat in it, it was cold. $18 for a below average and also small burrito. Won't be coming back.

Favourite Mexican. Although they seem to have slipped a little in quality since my first patronage (which I was so good I raved about it)

Good food, however, they've never bothered working out a way to have it delivered hot. So, dine in, because the take away will be disappointing.

Paid $15.50 for a Vegetarian bowl only to find out when I got home the trainee staff member and his trainer who served me didn’t even put the vegetarian filling in it. All I got was rice, beans lettuce and some measly toppings. Totally ripped off and won’t be going back. Make sure you check your meal before walking out the door because I wish I had of that day.

Got a super burrito - which is pretty much a normal sized burrito. I got it with lamb, of which there was barely any. It came stone cold. Not very interesting flavours. Quite a disappointment for $23.

Food always tastes amazing, always fresh, excellent variety of toppings extra. Great service also

Not very friendly staff.
Asking for standard serves of everything to be put instead of rough estimations gets you a not very customer friendly reply of “I’ve worked here long to know what a standard serve is “.

Anyway, this was definitely my first & last visit here.

Absolutely love how fresh and delicious the food is here. This store was super quick to order with and clean and comfortable to eat in.
