Great staff. For a complete novice who would like to surf but has no idea, they were extremely helpful and straight with their advice. Nice fellas too. Price was great. Good place.

I brought in several damaged boards and was impressed by the shop's team who offered fantastic repair options. It's great to see people going the extra mile to help out.very cool boards and accessories too!

Just had my surfboard repaired after pretty much rinsing my nose, now looks like nothing even happened there, very helpful staff, super nice and welcoming.i highly recommend these guys for your board repairs.

Wow, what a great company and what wonderful service! I ordered a board, came in super quick but was damaged through Australia Post. Although not Zak Surfboards fault or doing, they have apologised and are actively fixing the issue they did not cause. Outstanding!

My son, surfer for 20 years, had his board repairs done there twice.second one on a very expensive board which were second rate.

Wow that was quick! Ordered a 7'0 Seaside and Beyond, fins, and a bag online on Monday afternoon, took it out for a surf on Tuesday afternoon! And this included a call from Tom suggesting to get another bag instead. Great service, super fast delivery, would 100% buy here again!

Cannot speak highly enough of the service and communication received from Zak and his team! They turned around a custom surf board for me in record time, answering all questions I had, and even took the time to personally drop it off at my place. Really rate this business and am super grateful to Zak for taking such good care of us and the new board

Full disclosure: before I started surfing, I was certain this shop was a front for something dodgy. How could there be a successful surf shop so far from the surf? But now I know. The time, generosity and expertise that the staff are eager to share - even with a Barney like me - makes it a pleasure to drop in. In this age of online shopping, Zak is a model for what the real-life retail experience should be like.

Great surf shop! Huge range and great customer service. Purchased a locally shaped Zak Ringmaster (large fish) for a very reasonable price. Board goes great, paddles easily into waves and very stable pop up, glides well but doesn't have the bully feeling of a long board. Very happy all round.

Best service and great staff bought my first board here 10 years ago a 7"6 that I still own just picked up a 9"6 on boxing day with leash and case and she's a beauty thanks again zak and the crew

Absolutely love their service! I bought my first surfboard from them as well as two other wet suits and have become completely hooked. Every time I have been in their store they have given me excellent personalized advice for my level of experience. Basically they have a customer for life.:)

While I get frustrated with the amount of turn-over in brands for their new boards, their 'used' section always uncovers a gem or two. Shame it's all the way up in Thornbury. We could use them down here on the Surf Coast.

Survice and professionalism next to none! Staff not pushy at all. I recently purchased a wetsuit from one of the staff (I think his name was Harry), his guidance and knowledge helped me choose the perfect shred suit for my solo dates in the green room: P yeeeewwwwwwwww
