Yum Yami Camberwell reviews
16 Really yummy food and the older gentleman working there is very friendly and kind!
If you go, be sure to get their wonton noodle soup! The noodles are perfectly cooked each time with the perfect softness and chewiness. And omg those wontons are actually dream worthy haha my partner always dreams of this place
We always stop by here on our afternoon break nice and quiet little spot to sit and eat and talk about our day
Love that I have a new favourite spot as a local. Will definitely be back!
I ordered peanut satay noodles ($14.80) for a quick lunch. The noodle was too salty to taste anything else: (
If you are visiting Yum Yami, I recommend just sticking with the food that has good reviews here. I heard it can be either really good or not.
Best chicken and prawn wonton soup ever. The serve is generous for the price and the quality is delicious. Very cute little eatery.
Beautiful food. Prawn and chicken wonton soup delicious, excellent soup and skin, lots of vegetable $9! Pork bun were fresh $6.80 for 2. Pork and chicken dumplings mixed fresh and lovely!
For street food it’s over priced and small serve. Ordered the chicken pad Thai- bland and tasteless
It was something wrong with the dumplings, got a stomach upset and diarrhea after eating. Then i found the comment 5 months ago from a customer got the same issue.that was horrible experience.
Why would you advertise *cold milk tea with pearls for 5.50 but then charge another 80 cents for getting said pearls.
Was given a very condescending lecture from the old man serving me.
No options to reduce sugar, didn't taste like tea at all and the pearls were awful.
Absolute rip off
If you're looking for great cheaper boba in Camberwell go across the street to the glenferrie crepe cafe
Please don't eat here. It was sus from the start. The dumplings tasted really bad and strange.like even look at those soup dumplings lmao. My friends and I all got stomach aches and diarrhea. Even the bubble tea taste awful and the pearls were soft and melts in your mouth.disgusting. Listen to the recent reviews please! I forgot to look at the reviews and paid the price: D I would give negative kabillion stars if I could. And overpriced too.basically got scammed. $24 to go to the toliet haha: D
For Dumplings, go to Tao dumplings.
For Bubble tea near here, go to Glenferrie Crepe Cafe. Thank me later.:)
Really delicious tasty Asian food. Not too much salt or MSG or oil. Great range of vegan options. Friendly staff. Will definitely come again!
Happy with our dishes. Vegetarian fried kway teow was well balanced. I particularly enjoyed that it wasn’t sweetened, and not excessively salted like too many normal food court places. This was restaurant standard. I wouldn’t rate is as among the best in Melbourne but a competent version worth returning for/keeping as a standby when we’re in Camberwell doing the grocery shopping. Will return. Has vegan and vegetarian options for a majority of the menu items.
Dropped in yesterday for a quick, late lunch and was astounded by the mediocrity of the food. Poorly presented, when the tofu is a highlight of the laksa you know the food is ordinary.
Raw and dangerous food.
Ordered beef and vegetarian dumplings today for lunch.
I bit into the beef dumpling before I was overwhelmed by the gristly texture and taste of raw beef mince. I look inside and lo and behold, it was pink and raw.
I mentioned this to the woman at the counter but she insisted that they are 'fully cooked'. One out of the dumplings was in fact cooked properly, but the rest were raw.
Avoid if you value your health.
Signature dishes are the dumplings which are handmade on the premises. Beautiful. Light and crispy prawn spring rolls. They also have a range of taste rice and noodle dishes.
I ordered for online delivery at 7: 15pm.
They kept delaying my order up until closing time at 8: 30 without trying to contact me at all.
Do not order from these people; an hour and 15 minutes is not long enough for them to steam some dumplings and cook some rice.
Ordered 2 Nasi Gorengs, one for me and one for my mate. The seafood was fresh and the rice tasted incredibly good. Would certainly try it again
