I have been to this Chinese restaurant many times. The environment is good and the food tastes consistent. The boss lady is very polite. The food is more Shanghainese and delicious. New dishes are available every month.

This restaurant, situated in the heart of Canterbury boasts of a Shanghai chef who has mastered the art of cooking the perfect beef brisket and slow-cooked pork hock.

The aroma that emanates from the kitchen is a treat for the senses. Even before my meal arrived, I could smell the fragrant spices and herbs that were being used to prepare my food. When the dishes arrived at the table, it was as if my tastebuds had suddenly woken up! The beef brisket was tender and juicy, and had a depth of flavour that left me speechless. The slow-cooked pork hock was just as delicious, with the meat simply falling off the bone.

Absolutely delicious highly recommended! Both the duck with taro and yu xiang eggplant with chicken mince were full of flavour.

Great Chinese setting and very stylish, food is cooked perfectly and authentic. Favourites are the dumplings and wontons off the entre menu, and from the mains the shanghai chicken and mushroom noodles was the most flavoursome. If in the Canterbury area I'd recommend.

We had the sizzling beef, eggplant and mixed dumplings between me and my partner. Food is fantastic, service is lovely and restaurant is charming.

The food was ok. BUT ignore my Dietary requirement, I've had lunch here three times and every time I've asked them to remove onion from my order they forget.

Enjoyed our dinner here this evening and the food was fresh, hot and delicious. A nice family run restaurant with a good atmosphere. One had chicken Teriyaki and the other chicken with cashew nuts. Both dishes were freshly cooked and a delight to eat. Thank you.

Excellent food! Best I’ve ever had. Loved the crispy salted duck, sweet & sour barramundi, Singapore noodles and the stir fried fish fillet. Has amazing service. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Have been exploring the local area and trying new food and I’ve now come back to eat in a few times on a quiet weekend and each new thing I’ve tried has been so delicious and made with such attention to detail. The quality of the ingredients comes through. Will always come back!

Most delicious meal we’ve had in ages.esp the sichuan chilli chicken - but everything was wonderful

Very good. We've been three times now - for dinner and for a dim sum lunch. The food is authentic and superbly cooked. The table service is equally as good.

Ordered takeaway. Food was reasonable without being sensational. Overpriced for takeaway ($87 for the below - two meat dishes, a simple vegetable dish and plain rice), particularly when Box Hill is one suburb over.

The food was disappointing. The pork sweet and sour was so bad we ate only the first piece left the whole dish untouched. The salted crispy duck was not good either but edible. The barramundi was not great.
Will not be going here again. A waste of time.

We have been to this place several times and have always been served absolutely excellent food by friendly staff. This place serves up gourmet food at a very reasonable price. Takeaway is dished in biodegradable and compostable containers.

Homemade, authentic and delicious food. Staff are very kind and friendly. Amazing chef. This is Canterbury’s best kept secret.
