Youth Projects reviews
18The workers and clinical staff are AWESOME! They even have Peer workers there, who are amazing too
Co-joined with the Living Room Youth Projects are dedicated from the upper to the lower classes
Let me use the laundry, have a shower and a feed, and were just generally lovely, helpful people. Thanks guys.
Because of the individuals working at Youth Projects, I was able to successfully aquire a job in the field I'm passionate in.
Generally busy, but one of the best places to start if interested in the city's street art. Changes frequently so is always worth revisiting, and there's a sweet little coffee shop/store there that's sometimes open.
Awesome street art that changes daily there’s a few cafes and a couple of buskers and a photo shoot while we were there well worth a look
This is your one-stop shop for everything you a need from food, to clothes, to toiletries, to internet, showers or washing machines.you may be in need of seeking medical advice from a qualified nurse, or help with your current housing situation. Or maybe you just might need someone friendly to lend a listening ear. Whatever you may need, there's NO problem too big or too small for these AMAZING volunteers, who are non-judgemental, compassionate and pour their heart and soul into helping in whatever way they possibly can!
This hub for health and advocacy among homeless is the best 'ground level' fully accessible service I have attended. All in need are welcomed here without judgement, stigma or labelling & basic needs such as privacy & respect are honoured. Arts and positive personal expression and individuality are celebrated in this space, photo is of an artwork hung on wall inside among posters of health awareness, equal rights and diversity. Shower/Laundry and Food are provided as part of this health service and any person needing help in crisis can access real solutions here.
Graffiti is one of the few tools you have if you have almost nothing. And even if you don't come up with a picture to cure world poverty you can make someone smile while they're having a piss. And we just loved and enjoyed it
You can go to Hosier lane every two weeks and the art changes. Always some thought provoking stuff as well as lots of interesting and surreal examples of street art. Definitely worth a visit
This place is Melbourne’s most iconic laneway. There’s always something new and inspiring to see. My only wish is that the “taggers” will move on, and leave the street art to the good artists.
One of the best places for street art in Melbourne, been here for 10+ years can't find anything to compare. Beware there is a lot of people, but will be able to take photos easily. Really artistic and full pieces are here with minimal graffiti over the art.
A must visit when in Melb. Avoid visiting during the day as it might be packed with people. I really appreciate the murals, they are astounding and are redrawn regularly, I guess. Try not to bring a pram, as it is not really convenient.
Depending on the weather and the day/time it can be a bit dodgy and hard to enjoy; but usually you can still find opportunities to take some photos and be able to enjoy the art!
So impressive to see all these beautiful graffiti. They are really creative and you can see that they master this art perfectly. Always a bit busy though.
Colourful free public street art space in Melbourne's CBD. Come to enjoy the home of Melbourne street art and add a splash of colour to your day. Take photos - next week it will look completely different!
This place is amazing. It has everything all in the one place and this is the only place I have come across in my years of homelessness that caters for all needs that are essential and practical to assist with their daily struggles and short term needs. Washing personal hygiene facilities, telephone, internet and or computers mobile phone charging, breakfast, tea and coffee available all day etc, friendly staff, doctor's, etc
