Yoon's Kitchen Blackburn

Excellent Korean food with plenty of option to choose from. The soup/stew was the highlight.

Had takeaway fried chicken before which was great and decided to come in for dinner.

Got here about 6pm and it wasn’t too busy. Had a homely feel to the place. Selection of food was good and food came about 10-15mins after ordering. We ordered:

Mini kimchi pan cake - light and crispy but full of flavour 5/5

Kimchi stew with pork - thick broth with great umami from the kimchi. Wish there was a little more kimchi! 4.5/5

Snow cheese fried chicken - tasty crispy fried chicken with finely grated cheese that was slightly sweet. 4.5/5

Beef bugolgi japchae - full of flavour without the bulgogi overpowering the japchae. 4.5/5

Overall a great dinner and will definitely be back! Only managed to take two photos as we got too busy eating!

One of worse korean restaurants ive been to. Overpriced and lack of flavour. Since there are so many better options out there, i won't be coming here again

Lovely weather Monday today. Bit odd in Melbourne to get this much nice weather in the winter? With this good feeling, stopped by for lunch. So nice and friendly staff. Ordered spicy pork with rice. I love this menu always. Spicy pork has never let me down. So good.

Absolutely loving it! I have been in few different Korean restaurants and so far this is the best! All the dishes fresh and yummy

The restaurant itself was cosy but the food was very average compared to the other Korean restaurants around the area. Jeju pork noodles soup - noodles were overcooked and the pork belly wasn't the right cut to go with the noodles. Soup was the only satisfication. Seafood pancake - hardly any seafood in the pancake. Mostly flour and spring onion. The pickled spring onion as the side dish was pretty good. Overall, the prices went up since the last visit which is understandable but we wish to see more improvement in the dishes before returning.

I love Korean food, it was my birthday dinner recommended by friend to have it at Yoon's kitchen.

Thank you for accommodating to our request and needs. My friend 's ASD son loves your seafood tofu hotpot, and original BL Fry chicken.
Food is great, good serving portion, service is good, staffs are friendly. Plenty side street parkings.
We will be back again for sure.

Authentic Korean cuisine that tastes quite good.however, unlike Singapore, they didn't serve many korean side dishes here.

Their side-dish cabbage kimchi (geotjeori) tasted super authentic to the one served in Korea Probably even tastier. Highly recommend this place to those who would love to try Korean dishes

I ordered through Uber eats,
The 부대찌개 is suppose to come with rice but it was missing.
Upon calling up the restaurant the worker who picked up the phone call was very nonchalant and didn't even take a second to care about my situation. When I asked what other alternatives do I have, the only answer she had to give me was that there was "nothing".
Please train your staff to have even the slightest hint of sympathy.
If you think I'm making this up, ask for my need my uber order number.

It's the best Korean Restaurant in Blackburn. They are serving authentic Korea Foods and nice staffs. Strongly recommend

While I was visiting South Korea back in early 2000 as part of the Teachers Exchange for 2 weeks. That trip has given me many unique and authentic experiences. Not only knowing the emperor Sejong had developed the current Korean language system, Hangul but also the education system in Korea as well as the real Korean life in South Korea. Since then, revisiting South Korea has been in mind, until January 2019 I went back to South Korea with my family who knows Korea more than I do. I am incredibly happy to know more about South Korea, not just the Runningman but also an authentic Korean restaurant in Blackburn South. Every time when I dined in Yoon's Kitchen Blackburn, all my memories just flashed in my mind making me enjoy the food there even more and appreciate the service I received from the friendly staff. Thank you so much, Yoon’s Kitchen Blackburn brings me closer to South Korea even though we know it is only 11 hours flight from Sydney Airport to Incheon International Airport. But knowing your restaurant is there for me to say 안녕하세요 to South Korea then it is good enough for me to visit your restaurant more often if I can before I go ahead to plan for my next trip!

Can't get enough of their Spicy Beef Bone Soup! Very consistent taste, even for takeaway. Kimchi and Seafood Pancakes are also really flavoursome and crispy. Love the small size as well so we don't get full on a whole pancake. Yuringi was a bit of a disappointment. Dressing was okay but the chicken itself tasted very bland. Great options for Tteokbokki - the Creamy Rose version is my favourite. The little scoop of mashed potato served on their Tteokbokki dishes are sooo yum!

Ordered spicy seafood tofu soup extra spicy. It was spicy indeed, still very tasty. I like it. Original fried chicken was good, medium size was generous. Seafood pancake was nice too. Service was friendly and fast. Highly recommended.

The food was very good, the place is very pretty, and their staff called Crystal was extremely friendly I love her so much. She made my day. I hope to see her again the next time I come ️

Authentic Korean food! Service fast, cosy environment and gets busy. Make sure u book or get here early.

Love all the traditional soup and stew options. They serve nice Korean fried chicken and a good selection of Korean snacks…our family enjoyed dining here.

Heard great things about this place for a while and finally made it here myself. Such a cozy little Korean restaurant that serves a range of scrumptious Korean food: Spicy Tofu Stew, a variety of Korean Fried Chicken, Korean Sausage & Rice Cake, Bibimbap, etc. Their service is warm, friendly and is quick to respond to any requests and queries. Will definitely come back again.
