Yo-Chi reviews
83Love this place. Friendly service and awesome frozen yogurt and exotic toppings to add if you like. Heaps of space and well air conditioned.
All tastes yum, but insanely expensive. $13+ for some cold yogurt and fruit is tantamount to daylight robbery. And the payment scheme is a dirty trap. Once you've chosen what you want, it gets weighed and the cost is made known to you. At this point attempting to back out would make you look pretty bad.
This place was good, more dairy free options would be great and it did not have a lot of atmosphere. Huge store and it was very quiet and a bit awkward. Lovely food though.
In summer I was going there probably every 2 days. Amazing! Usually get the vanilla one with bananas, strawberries, some sort of crunchy chocolate, hot choc sauce, dates and more.so good. Best in Melbourne if you want a good yoghurt
Super yum froyo place with a good variety of fresh toppings! Place definitely has a nice vibe about it!
Tasty; not sure about the health claims though. Be careful with the toppings or you'll end up paying heaps (you pay by weight)!
Has a great range of vegan, dairy free, and gluten free options which makes it a great place to take a group with allergies or restrictions. Everything is clearly labelled so dont even need to ask staff. The staff nearly always offer free samples if you dont know what flavour you want. A little expensive but as someone who is lactose intolerant it is definately worth it to have a fair amount of choices.
The veggie dumplings and garlic brocollini were yummy. Fairly standard dumpling place, nothing to rave about.
What's not to love about Cinema Nova? Cosy, nice cinemas and shows all the smallest and most interesting releases
Yo-Chi is a cafe which serves dessert in Carlton. The cafe is a self-service cafe. First, you have to select the flavour of yogurt ice cream. The flavours include original, mix berries, honeycomb, coconut, etc. If you cannot decide on the flavours, you can approach the friendly staff to request some from the selected ice cream that you want to try. They will be happy to help you. You can either have the ice cream in a cup or cone. Then, you can choose a variety of toppings including fruits (kiwi, strawberry, etc.), syrups (passion fruits, berry, etc), biscuits (oreo, etc). Lastly, you complete your dessert with some hot (liquid form) dark chocolate, white chocolate, etc. The ice cream (yogurt ice cream and toppings) is charged according to the weight - $3.3/100 g. I highly recommend this place to people who love yogurt ice cream. Cheers!
I really like yochi for its high quality frozen yoghurt and great choices of toppings but it's extremely crowded on most days. However, it's still really good and I still frequent it. Recommend the green tea, berry good, signature tart and vanilla flavours - they make great bases. They have other interesting flavours like soy banana, chocolate, persian rose, coffee, honeycomb etc. The flavours do change but not very regularly and they don't switch up all at one go. I'm quite sure that the recommend ones I mentioned are fixed.
Frozen yoghurt + a myriad of toppings and syrups, including seasonal fruits and most recently, chips. Price is determined by weight. I usually spend $6 per person. Wheelchair friendly. Highly recommend.
Best frozen yoghurt with the yummiest of fillings. Nice bright and comfortable surroundings. Lovely staff.
Love this place, amazing frozen yoghurt and flavours but, consistency of the yoghurt can sometimes be a bit too runny.
Good variety. Sadly, lack of vegan options. Great atmosphere for hanging out with friends. Rose and vanilla flavours are tastiest imo. Wide range of sweet toppings and "sauces". I like the location too!
Decent selection of good-value froyo. Staff is also very kind and helpful. However, some of the froyo consistencies are too runny/melted - it melts in the cup before we're finished.
A suitable place to come as a group after dinner and chill as there's usually enough space to sit.
Fantastic frozen yoghurt. I'm always surprised that this place is not packed because it's so good. Scrummy yummy frozen yoghurt with all these amazing toppings. However the less people know about it the easier it is for me. The last time I went I had the original tart, salted caramel, mixed berry, abd chocolate. I preferred the original tart.
Classy frozen yoghurt with a delicious selection of high-quality toppings e.g. Fruit compotes. It's fun creating your own combination of flavours, and the pay-by-weight system means you can just have a little bit if you're on a budget. Popular with students, great for anyone in search of a quality sweet treat.
First the bad, the staff were mostly non-existant, only really present for the purchase at the end. The store was lacking character on the whole, just a long service line churning out customers.
Now the good, the frozen yoghurt is delicious, every flavour I tried was amazing! The toppings are extensive and also brilliant, especially the melted chocolate sauce!
The prices seem very reasonable for what you get. Overall really nice dessert stop.
Went to the St Kilda, Carlton, Hawthorne Yochi By far the Carlton, is my favorite because they have more of a variety of frozen yogurts, and they change the frozen yogurts alot and do themes. A little bit over Priced but, quite worth it with a group of friends. (Kind employees.)
I totally gotta recommend the Chai and the Green tea Frozen yogurt, (Normally seen in the Carlton YoChi)
Great for summer!
