35 Had the trade in from hell experience.
Staff didn’t know how to set it up, then my phone didn’t get sent to their trade in provider for 3 weeks.
Manager is the only one with access to any of the systems, but refuses to take calls. I called 4 times, each time was told the manager would get back to me in the next half hour… no call back received. I had to chase them up, and even then the Manager refuses to take escalation calls or just leaves the store, fobs it off on casual staff with no experience.
Still waiting for my trade in gift card, definitely changing carriers
Tiffany and Johnathon went above and beyond to help me with a very tricky accounts issue, thanks again guys much appreciated.
I am so happy that there is one staff called Tommy. He is very friendly and helped us with Apple product with lower price than all other Telstra.
Staff didn’t even try to help to look up if the requested item is in stock in other stores
We went in for a new phone + plan and was very fortunate to have a nice bloke called Tommy serve us. He was friendly and patient in explaining everything to my husband and I. Luckily, he was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions in depth and overall, was very quick and efficient with his work. We will be asking for Tommy next time we drop by!
This is not my first visit, but the same experience. 1 or sometimes 2 staff working while another staff member walks around with a clip-board taking names.why do you need a store-walker? You can just have numbers like they do at Deli counters. 3 staff members should = 3 people working.staff are competent, it very limited with what they can/are allowed to do. Anything complex, they just tell you to ring help desk or raise a complaint.
The worst service ever! Came to check on my cousin's mobile as it's not working after the breach. Only 2 staff available & both tied up with customers for over 30 mins. Another Came into store after a late lunch I presume, & went to the back office & never appeared again - it's 3pm. Who keeps a tab on these employees. Tempted to switch to Vodafone
Very busy so we made an appointment to come back the next day. Jonathon (Jon) was very helpful, set us both up with recontracts for new phones. Very thorough. Best to make an appointment at the moment, many walk ins and not enough staff.
Excellent service by Cherry who helped us close one account and gave good advice on how to deal with another account that was compromised in the recent hack.
Thanks very much Optus, Forest Hill. I called there today with a problem. I was told by a rather unpleasant lady that I would have to wait about 15 mintes and that she would call me. I am still waiting for the call 60 minutes later. Great service. No stars.
Optus.hanging up on customers since the day they started. Bad service when you need help. Very dissatisfied.
Tried to get help with my galaxy watch 4 lte on Thursday 14th July.manager did not remotely seem interested in helping. Worst experience I have ever had from this store.

The customer service person was unable to communicate, the elements of different phones when I asked questions like is the phones locked to the optus network he seemed to think it was a silly question. I asked can I transfer the information from my old phone to the new phone, he said no. After I spent about 10 hours transferring information and contacts I found the phone had a program to transfer everything which took about 5 minutes to start and 10 minutes to run. I was very disappointed.
The most useless excuse for a customer service team. How can you send a phone for warranty repair and not have a loan phone a customer can use. And then say "we will call you when it's fixed" call me on what? You have my phone. Utter stupidity.
I had a problem with my Number Share for weeks and I had suspicions that it was an issue with my sim card. When I had gone to a different Optus store, the only solution they offered me was to factory reset my watch and try again which didn't work. It wasn't until Neil took the time to look into my account and swapped my sim card out for a different one that I finally got the Number Share to work! Thanks Neil!
Mixed emotions. The lady who greeted us was extremely friendly and accommodating, however once we sat down with another lady who was serving us.she tried to scam us more than we had asked.bit disappointing
Needed clarification of charges on my OPTUS account so I popped in during shopping. I was attended to quickly and professionally. What more could you expect from a first class communications company.
Excellent assistance and knowledge from the attending staff member who was willing and able to answer all of my questions.
Helpful, friendly, professional. Served by a trainee with co-worker oversight - both lovely and the trainer didn't allow his instruction to interfere. I got better than I came in for, a better match my needs, not more $$$s and good answers to my queries - from both staff members.
