21 Wanted to verify ID cos optus said go to a optus store. Wasted close to one hour still no one tries to sort out the issue. Very disappointed.
It’s just school - small business issue. Otherwise I would have never visited in the first place
Great service just received from Brian. Unfortunately I received extremely bad service from Telstra after being with them for over 30 years. Brian fixed a problem on my phone. I then transferred all my services to Optus. Thanks Brian
Could not help with price, that had been given over the phone. Phone staff Lester very helpful.
Tried this store after a year from my first review to buy a new sim card, I had to drop my review from 2 stars to 1 due to the poor service.
Though i read the reviews before going here, i thought nothing could go wrong with buying a new phone. Got the wrong colour and they refused to return it. I should've thoroughly read the receipt after the purchase, yet I never had such a problem in the past with other shops. They proposed calling a number to try sort it out!
No help whatsoever.the sales people said they couldn’t help me but Optus helped me on line and even gave me credit.if you have an issue don’t go to this store, ring up and speak to customer service.
Assistant manager April (Chirnside), went above and beyond to ensure that we walked out of Optus, with our phones connected back online, as and we'd been cut off, from a late/overdue bill.
Even though multiple attempts at connecting our phones were unsuccessful, due to various system problems. April worked tirelessly trying everything she could, to get our service restored. Even staying behind after the store had closed to assist us. We cannot say how incredibly appreciative we are for your effort, kindness, understanding and hard work.
Even though Optus has been under fire lately, April restored my faith in the company, that there are people like herself, who will do their best to help. Thanks again April:)
Shocking customer service by Brian, refused to serve and help out simply because he wasn’t ready to accept that they were at fault. Asking customers to make multiple trips and then offering no assistance when needed is unacceptable, let alone refusing to call the manager for help. Why bother working in customer service when you have no intentions to serve customers?

What a horrible experience going into Optus on 02/1/2022 was served by a young trainee girl who did her best to help admittedly I’m a novice when buying phones got home realised the phone was not for me. So I returned the same day and enquired about a refund. Was met by rude arrogant Nick the assistant manager whose comments were it’s been opened when I pointed out to him yes that’s how I realised the phone wasn’t for me he shoved a phone number in my hand and said can’t help you ring them not once did he try and find out what my problem was. When pressed further I got the reply you should have done more research like I did! Sorry mister rude arrogant Nick I thought that’s what the people in the store were there for to offer advice to people like me. Will be moving to another provider in the near future maybe Optus should be training there staff in customer service and problem solving not arrogance or do they know the difference by my experience I'm not too sure.
Excellent experience at this store.
Was served by Nick B and I could not have been more pleased
When I turned up he was dealing with a very rude customer and his total professionalism was on display. He helped them with a smile even when they were being rude and abusive for no reason.
I was having an issue with my phone and instead of just telling me to ring tech support he spent the time to get is sorted himself and then called me with a follow up to make sure everything had been taken care of.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA+
Massive shout out to Zac (hope I'm spelling your name right). Lifesaver and helped me with an issue I was having that nobody else seemed able to. Thankyou!
Awful experience! I was told to pick up a document on Sunday and there was no record of my request even being made. Rather then helping me with my request, the manager just brushed me off saying it was my fault that I didn't remember the customer representative name who I made the original request to. Waste of time and very bad customer service!
Shoutout to Zack, who yesterday got me setup on an upgraded phone plan. I previously had a 2 year plan that was coming to an end. He was extremely helpful throughout the process, outlined how the transition to the new phone plan would work (also returning my loaned phone etc.) Explained each step and the cost breakdown thoroughly. I'm very happy with the service and my new phone plan, thanks again Zack!

Never go with Optus, the most incompetent of all service providers, they harass customers, and have the worst customer service out there.they are incapable of the most basic requests, and are overall incompetent. Someone rang them pretending to be my mother, and requested a new sim under her name, to which they obliged, possibly leading to nearly $10,000 dollars worth of fraudulent transactions through my mothers bank.
Well, review in this store is true, i think emm, maybe I am just walking in to buy a sim card, should be fine. Well, reality slap me in the face hard. I don't think you guys should even waste a single minute to walk in. Just trust the review. Yes, is the lady, but I am not sure if she is the manager.
Absolutely disgusting service from the store manager herself! My husband came in with a clear warranty repair when his iPhone battery well expanded and blew up. Got told it’s not covered under warranty (despite it being a fault with the phone which according to consumer law, it is). The manager clearly didn’t care and just said “go to apple” because she can’t obviously be bothered doing any paper work today. Well turns out they are not paying you to stand there and look pretty they are paying you to do.wait for it.your job. Which is service their customers. If you don’t want to do that may I suggest you go get another job where you can stand around and chat while being paid? Because this one is clearly not for you. Have made a formal complaint and will speak to management in Optus as I used to work there for over 7 years. So probably best you work out who you’re lying to before you try it. Time for you to change career paths.
Easily the best nightclub in the eastern suburbs, what a vibe! 2 words can easily sum up this place: "kickons central".
Bring your party shoes and hi-NRG, DJ got us in a trance
Staff are rude, I find it absolutely incredible that you can't pay an optus bill at an optus store, was told to go to Mount Waverly store where I might be able to.
Jack you're a legend. Yeah you know who you are. Sorry for calling you at inapropriate times. Are you looking forward to our next subject? I'm not.
Can't ring the store to see if phone has been delivered. You have to go through Optus and demand they ring the store.
