20 Highly unprofessional, lack of knowledge of their own products and services.
They even can’t resolve a petty issue of converting physical sim to eSIM.
Wish they could train their staff so that at least they won’t Harras people.
We are in 2024 and I am ashamed still there are such people who don’t even care for their customers. Such a shame.
If there opening hours say open until 3pm they should stay open until then. Drove all the way into town. Arrived at 2: 40 to see the shutters closed and the staff inside talking to each other. Will be going to buy a new phone somewhere else now.
Alex is the best staff member ever. Super helpful with my technical difficulties and new services. Hope he gets a raise.

Have had experiences in the past at this Optus that were far from helpful and staff were extremely rude.
Came into Optus today to ask about our pre-existing plan and recontracting new phones.
We were helped by Demi, and to say she was absolutely beyond helpful would be an understatement. She was amazing. So informative and helpful and even stayed back past her finish time to help us finalise our purchase. Her customer service skills were above and beyond and we are able to joke and have a laugh with her which was great.
Honestly one of the best experiences i’ve encountered at a retail store. Thankyou so much Demi, you did an amazing job!
Beyond frustrated at the lack of common sense. Jacob was zero help. After 7 attempts as setting up my eSim still going around in circles.
A disgusting experience at Optus, Market Place Bendigo. The young staff need to listen to Customer enquiries a lot better. The entire junior crew failed to come anywhere close to meeting any expectation of positive customer service. They all actively took steps to inflame a situation that didn't need to happen because they refused to listen to the customer. Ageism clearly identified in the reprehensible, humiliating and public situation that occurred. They continued to refuse to listen to the steps that had taken place for me to be present to pick up my new phone. The worse customer experience I have ever encountered.
Yet a week ago I had a good outcome to my problem and was sorted by a young Trainee who was being supervised by the adult manager. Unfortunately, they had an outage problem on that day and couldn't proceed with upgrading my phone and plan. It was planned I would come back this week when it was convenient for me to travel to Bendigo to get my new phone, and bring my same paperwork back. Different staff today and a totally different outcome
Today the staff were not interested in that conversation or would not even look up my request.
Ryan, Matt and Alex you have so much to learn in Customer Service. Big Fail today. Please listen to your Customers.
Terrible service, shouldn't open up for business at all. If you guys want a better place, please do go to Kangaroo Flat instead.
No help whatsoever. I had a few minor issues and the staff just ignored my requests for help. The answer was "don't know". I am disgusted.
Bad service on weekends, Staff are rude and No help.at all. Very hard when you work full time Monday to Friday same can't get there.
I am with Telstra. I had a problem with my iPhone 6 (It wasn't charging). I went into the Telstra Shop in the Marketplace to find a queue of people out the door. I would have waited hours to be seen. I went almost next door to the Optus Shop and was immediately greeted by James. I told him it was Telstra service but told him about my problem anyway. He took my phone and with a pin took out some fluff from inside the jack where the charging cable plugs in. Problem fixed. I felt so guilty but ended up buying a cable from James.
To cut a long story short, the service was friendly, efficient and professional. What a lovely guy James was. I couldn't recommend these guys higher. Thanks James, you deserve all good things that come to you.
Linton and his team are fantastic at Optus Bendigo. Very efficient and friendly. We have made huge savings after moving from Telstra and coverage is great!
Dont buy anything from optus, even if it is faulty right out of the box it apparently is your problem and not theirs,

Ryan has been fantastic over the last 2 years I have dealing with optus. He always goes above and beyond helping choose the best products and plans for my use. Follows up with any question/queries and issues has been solved ASAP. Fantastic guy and always has been fantastic. Thanks mate, you rock
If I could give a -10 rating I would. Worst customer service since Optus Brookside, Mitchelton. Not interested in trying to help sort out a complicated situation. Staff just shrug their shoulders and say there's nothing they can do. No interest in trying to help find a solution. Telstra here I come.
Went and got new Samsung 10+. The quality of customer service management was great.starter with l person and by the end of getting a new phone there were 2 young chap help.great job
