10Sales orientated and DON’T LISTEN. My partner had to pick up a new phone for me and after specifying to the salesman I did not want/ need the extra $5 a month box with case, chargers etc (I said no and explained I definitely didn’t want it at least twice in our conversation) he still gave it to my partner when he picked it up and sorted out the paperwork. My partner wanted to double check with me because he wasn’t sure but of course couldn’t because my phone was not working (hence buying a new one). When we tried to return it at the shop we were told we have to call a number to find out what to do and post it ourselves. We are both busy with two toddlers and didn’t need this extra hassle. Absolutely poor service from Optus Wodonga. Would go to another provider entirely.
Terrible service. Apparently you can't trade up your phone without paying out the device cost despite being on the $36 per month plan. Contrary to what the official Optus website says. Also, should your phone need to go in for repairs, they don't give you a loan phone. Probably gonna ride the plan out and leave optus, won't matter to them, but very disappointing to say the least.
Bad service, staff who clearly don't want you in their store. Suggested I call Optus service line. I won't be back!

I don't often have issues with Optus service provision and the online chat is totally useless. When I do have any issues (or want to purchase devices) they are sorted immediately in-store by friendly and professional staff.
Having modem problems with my Optus supplied wireless modem I went to the Wodonga store and they could not help me at all and were unwilling to try.
They are really only a sales outlet with limited service ability. They can replace a sim, nothing more. They are friendly and do know about phones. I did previously get from them a new Samsung note 20 ultra which is fabulous as that was the model the sales people own.
I ended up at office works where I bought my own modem which is working really well. After owning 4 Optus modems over the years i have decided you can do better by buying your own.
The staff at Optus were excellent and super friendly. Lana helped me to pick a fantastic pre paid option.
Hands down the best experience I've ever had. Excellent problem solving skills and got me the best deal for my budget. 10/10 Would recommend to others to join up.
If it was possible to submit less than 1 star, this Yes Optus store would certainly achieve that. The staff are rude and incompetent. Provided false information about a plan at time of purchase and have since refused to help adjust the plan. Staff also have zero technical skills and when presented with a faulty product and a cause of the problem based on over a year of information about the product on the Optus forums and on the manufacture website, insisted it was caused by something completely different. Suffice to say the problem was not solved and just reoccurred within an hour of the store closing for the day.
If you value your time and do not wish to be lied to, take the extra 20 minutes to drive to Albury Optus store
The Manager is great, helpful and friendly. Can't say that for the young staff under her, they are rude and incompetent. If it's important see the manager or call optus.
Great service from one of the female employees there. Had a serious issue with my phone. She literally touched it and it worked again. I spent 5 hours trying to fix the bloody thing. #believeinmiracles Thanks for your help!:)
