29 Me and my wife booked a table and waited around 20mins until a table is vacant. We were first in line for a table. However, when the table is available, they offered to couple of late comers. We left the place.
Do not recommend the place at all.
Went on a Saturday night and it was really busy, but we got a table relatively quickly without a reservation. Great, authentic Taiwanese food, and especially recommend the fried chicken.
Delicious and authentic Taiwanese food. Be sure to make a booking as seats fill up quickly during peak hours, but even if you don’t, the food is worth the wait. Will definitely be coming back.
Ok-ish food, greasy and oilly and my rice was grainy but still good. Also, the drinks are very expensive, ($6.50 FOR A SMALL DRINK)
The shop is very popular but is very small with little seating, noisy, a little bit dirty tables and the employees don't talk to you much.
Other than that, the food is good and the decorations are cute.
Great Taiwanese street food. Reasonable pricing and service. Very limited seating and parking, so, best to be prepared for a takeaway meal.
Foods are amazing, whatever chicken or pork bento, ordered via platforms many times and few times consumed in store.many people from Taiwan told me they are BEST Taiwan house in SE metro, could even in Melbourne.
However, they are an another store using silly order system. You need to order via QR code on your table and pay in counter IMMEDIATELY to finish your order.
Taking order via QR code, fine, good choice during labor shortage.
Pay before meal, fine.
But it is adding works to clients and NOT cutting your work.
Hopefully one day they can understand this and let clients pay online or order in counter.
This place is a gem. Food served were great and well seasoned. The braised pork knuckle was chewy and full of flavours. Scan barcode to order and pay at the counter. They offer great varieties of taiwanese food and beverage. The fried chicken chop was nice too, the batter was light, flaky and tender on the inside. Will definitely go back again
Fantastic food, good pricing & quick - definitely recommended.
I went in on a Friday night to get a take away, they have a QR code to scan to get a menu on your phone - but I just ordered at the counter.
"Mixed bento" - included fried chicken, rice, tofu, seaweed, rice, pickled garlic and more - plenty of food for one person & it tasted delicious. It came in a disposable plastic bento box, cost $15.5 & was ready to go in less than 5 minutes.
I'll be back for sure.
The restaurant opens till midnight and it is a good place when having late dinner. The popcorn chicken is very juicy and crispy. Love the Ecstasy fried pork belly.
Found this little Taiwanese eatery in Clayton vicinity.
Honestly, I love their winter melon tea and their Taiwanese fried chicken.
Also, hooked to their spicy and delicious chilli.
Try it and you be as amazed.
The only shortfall is seating space is quite minimal.
The Taiwanese-style diet in Clayton, Melbourne, tastes very good. It is very interesting to add some chili sauce when eating.
It isn't just The Sunny Cafe in Springvale that does it well you know?
And this place opens late. Late is when you want food like this.
Looking forward to my next visit.
Amazing Taiwan Snack Bar! Porkfloss Pancake the best I have found in Melbourne and such a cute feeling, perfect to take for a date with a special person! Travel here and you won't be disappointed.
Just recently discovered this place and it is one of the best Taiwanese restaurants we've been to in Melbourne. Every dish we had was so flavourful and the portion sizes were very generous! Definitely reccomend YES as a restaurant to try if you're in the area! The chicken here is a must!
Awesome authentic Taiwanese fare, even though the restaurant is a little small itself. We had the crispy chicken fillet and spicy garlic chicken bento and both were delicious! Can’t wait to come back here again. Just be prepared to wait when it is lunchtime.
Cozy and low key place. No fuss Taiwanese Japanese fusion, and good value. Fast service, all around no complaints
The restaurant is relatively small with limited dining space. As a result tables aren't big and the restaurant can get squishy. The decor is average and presents in basic fashion.
Food is quite affordable and very decent. We had the noodles and the deep fried chips, chicken pieces and tofu. The portion is quite generous and very delicious.
A good no-frill dining place. I recommend that you get in early to get a seat.
Really nice and authentic Taiwanese food! Highly recommend to have the food in the restaurant, although the space is a bit small, but the food tastes better there, and the deep fried food won't get too soft.
Came all the way to Clayton to try this place but Disappointed at the quality of food. Better Taiwanese restaurant elsewhere. The staffs were friendly and loved the ambience. Very busy with their takeaways.
My taiwanese boyfriend loves this place and swears this is the best taiwanese night market style food in Melbourne. Food comes out fast and their sausages were fantastic. Love the egg pancakes!
