Yellow Espresso reviews
67Delicious food, efficient and polite, friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere. Very impressed. Will be back when im in town
It was busy so we thought that was a good sign. Service was OK… but when my iced matcha was delivered it was 2/3 full, like someone had already drunk a significant amount - when I asked if I could have a full cup - they just topped it up with soya milk saying the glasses are bigger than they look…? ! The avocado toast was a very small portion and for the cost should include at least 2 eggs. When I asked to swap the mushrooms for tomato it was clearly a swap but when I went to pay they charged extra - just really bad attitude/policy. My friends burrito bowl was also underwhelming. Overall would not recommend and will not be returning.
Visited this little cafe again today. The service was friendly and professional and the food delicious.
Fantastic coffee and exceptional staff. Thank you
Great service, greeted immediately! Coffee was good but could have been stronger in iced latte but that’s personal preference. Food was tasty, fresh and came out quickly!
My partner had the chilli eggs & I had the eggs Benedict, we both enjoyed our meals immensely! The chilli eggs were particularly impressive, I’ll get it next time we’re there! The coffees tasted great but were a little weaker than we usually like but the extra shot made a difference. The staff were also lovely, we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town.
Driving back home from Daylesford, we decided to stop at Ballarat for brunch and stumbled upon this lovely find.
Staff were friendly and attentive despite the place being packed.
We ordered coffees and the liquid passion smoothie - all bevvies were amazing!
The food was where it’s really at. Everything was delicious. We had the spicy baked eggs, chilli scrambled eggs, breakkie panini, and ham and cheese croissant. The baked eggs and chilli scrambled eggs were out of this world! I also got another takeaway coffee to go and they brought it out with great service.
We will be back the next time we’re around.
Great place in the centre of town. Had the yellow eggs, cooked right, not greasy and tasted fantastic. To top it off priced right as well. Friendly staff and a nice little space.
Food was nice but the mouth on the barista was terrible she was so rude making nasty comments about the staff to their face, Would make rude comments about customers after they leave and overall the fakest person ruined the vibe you could feel the tension from a mile away never going back.
This is the place we go to when we travel to Ballarat. Get in early as this place gets busy and it’s hard to get a table inside. I love the breakfast menu and they also serve axil coffee.
Great place, awsome coffee (maybe its just my taste but i find their coffee to be the best in Ballarat) perfect temperature and blend of coffee vs milk, super friendly staff, yummy breakfast (new skool smash is a must try).
Glad to have found this place to have periodic breakfasts and coffee, after having moved
Nice place, quiet, good coffee, tasty breakfast, friendly owners, good prices, just a bit slow for a Sunday morning.
Lovely customer service with a smile, warm inside and a great breakfast menu etc, very nice coffee and tea.
Santina and the team do an amazing job every since day. They have the best coffee in town in my opinion and the customer service is unparalleled. Thanks a billion 100000% recommend
Great food, great coffee and the service from Bianca was faultless. She was very friendly and just helped us all start our day wonderfully Can't wait to come back next time we are in town.
Friendly service, food was delicious and well priced Also, the kids menu here has good options for little ones, my daughter loved the fruits yogurt cup
Excellent coffee with young vibrant staff. Food was a little disappointing but so hard to get everything right.
I would go back as the service was top notch.
A little slice of Melbourne in the heart of Ballarat. If it wasn't for the smackies and bogans you would swear you were on Brunswick St.
Had the Old Skool Smash. I must say, this was the best breakfast I had during my time in Ballarat.
Good service, the coffee was good and everything was reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
Food is always consistently good aswell as their drinks. Thankyou so much. Love their smoothie bowls on a hot day.
Cute cafe with great food, coffee and service. Went here on a Sunday morning, very popular but we walked up at the right time and managed to get the last table available. I recommend sitting outside as it offers a really nice experience. Almond flat white and soy cappuccino were really good and the two egg dishes we ordered were quite large serves, super fresh and tasted great.
