Yeddonba Aboriginal Cultural Site reviews
7A nice walk amongst the granite boulders. The walkway is still closed after 12 months, obviously not a priority of any Aboriginal organisation to get it back up and running. The history board and interpretive signs seem to have a few errors, e.g. "tens of thousands of aborigines" used to live around the area - that's impossible, and the lookout was used to see passing groups, but you wouldn't be able to see them for the forest canopy back then. Anyway, interesting to see the stone age dwellings. I wouldn't bother tbh.
Poorly maintained dangerous pathways this walk is not suitable for older people in my opinion a waist of our time
I love this site/walk and regularly took overseas visitors there to view the rock art. Unfortunately the art viewing platform has been closed for about 3 years because of a decaying board or two in the decking. Parks Vic have used a couple of excuses as to why it has't been repaired and re-opened. Initially is was that there were no funds available and more recently awaiting
an engineering report. Not rocket science, just a few boards and a small budget would get it done.
Beautiful walk, you can feel the history here.
Please reopen the board walk. It has been closed for way too long and there’s no sign of work commencing.
Great place to go for a coupleof hours to kill. The ancient artwork wasn't able to be seen as it has been fenced off due to construction. But brilliant all the same.
A short walk to a magical rock art site which, despite being a local, I did not know existed until only a few years ago. We are very fortunate to have such ready access to this significant historical site.
Nice short walk with lots of wildflowers in spring. Also some very faint rock art.
