YASSAS THE GREEK WAY - DOCKLANDS reviews
28Great place for a casual evening of good food. Only critique was that the meats were slightly dry, however, it could’ve been possibly due to the hot weather. Besides that, this place is a highly recommend spot for those seeking Greek food.
Always delicious food and friendly staff. Great for pre-cinema food or just a pleasant meal out.
Good food and service. Big servings. Me and my wife had a mixed gyros platter that comes with chips, salad, pita bread and 2 dips and the meats of course plus the lemon patatas (roasted potatoes with lemon, herbs seasoning). The price was also reasonable considering location and food quality. Recommended.
Share plate was $60, was really small, all really fried and not that enjoyable. Not worth $30
Had Dinner there. It was perfect. We placed an order and within 10 minutes it's on the table. Very friendly and cooperative staff. Everything was so Delicious.
The prices were quite high but worth every penny.
Terrible experience. The manager “sunny” Shubham is less then satisfactory. Ordered a large lunch for me and my partner valued at approximately $140. Only to be told 45 mins later that there is no lamb it is all sold out? No lamb in a Greek restaurant? After asking I had to waited another 45mins before I left with our refund or confirmation of refund. Never again
We LOVE our greek.they sure make a good open souvlaki, food is usually a lot better when it's busier closer to the weekends, during the week lunch the gyro is a mix and match.
Overall couldn't say anything bad.
Great food. The chips were perfect. Good service. The waiter came to check everything was ok a few times. Would recommend for some good Greek food.
We went to the restaurant before watching movie. Nice and fast service. All staff are friendly. Food are excellent.
Gyro Could Be Better
The service and the place is actually pretty comfy and amazing.
The downfall is the meat on my gyro. Almost all meats are dry but the taste is good
I hope they just have a bad day
Unhappy overall meats wasn't too bad decent flavour just would have been nice if we got a decent portion paid 65dollars meat platter for 2 and seriously got the same amount of meat in a gyros platter for one never have I ever been frustrated nor unhappy with restraint to the point where I find it necessary to leave a bad review
Customer service wasn’t anything astounding.
Food menu was inconsistent as the QR code to order didn’t have the full menu. Souvlaki’s weren’t filled and they have “chips shortage” so it’s not included. Drinks were flat. Food doesn’t look like photo.
We love Yassa's in NewQuay. Their gluten free options are safe for coeliac and we go there often. Staff are polite and friendly and the food is amazing
We had really nice lamb souvlakis and sides here. The service and atmosphere was a little shaky, and they were currently charging more than menu prices for any form of potatoes due to a potato shortage (none of the other shops at the time were doing the same). In summary, decent food, not cheap, maybe get it take away.
They were extremely accommodating! We had bottomless brunch even though they no longer offered it. They didn’t have to but we were grateful. The food was amazing! High recommend and will be coming again.
Good location and friendly staff. A few things that can be improved from my experience of Bottom Brunch:
1. Booking instructions were not followed. I instant messaged the restaurant via Open Table App to get a table near the balcony so my best friend could enjoy the view of the Yarra for her birthday and Yasass responded ithat was ok however when I got there we were seated at the back on the balcony and the restaurant wasn’t even busy.
2. The bottom brunch $69 package said it included sparkling, see attached photo, and we were told we could not have that only red or white wine. I added an extra $10 to include cocktails and we only had 2 cocktails to choose from it was espresso martini and Majito. I wish I was told before purchasing this package the cocktails you could have and that sparkling wasn’t included anymore. I felt jibbed.
Food is absolutely amazing!
BUT WHY DO YOU CHARGE $14 FOR 4 PIECES OF BROCCOLINI. It makes no sense at all! I asked the staff member what the reason was for this and he wouldn’t tell me. What kind of magic broccoli are you using
Pretty good Greek food, wait time wasn't that long, lots of seating here. The pita bread and the halloumi souvlaki are probably my favourite. Prices are on the slightly higher side, but worth it.
Excellent food and speedy service! Kasey provided excellent service and her recommendations were amazing!
I’ll be sure to visit again!
Nice food and atmosphere. I'd give more starts but the food was too salty and a lacked flavour.
