Yarragon Ale House

Worst food out ever and I eat out pretty regularly. I understand it is a causal setting but the food quality and poor service were ridiculous. The nuggets and bao buns were burnt. The cauliflower popcorn and blue cheese dipping sauce was slopped onto the plate in a pool of oil and was inedible. The steak sandwich and chips were fine. The meals all came out one at a time and the last one came about 1 1/2 hours after we arrived- and only the after we asked for it. The kids meals were free with mains which was a great deal however they were tiny and the usual price is around $14 which would be a total rip off. When we asked for a napkin for the spare ribs the wait staff couldn’t find one so gave us a tea towel from the kitchen! We were given dirty side plates. Needed to ask the staff the clear the table too. It wasn’t even busy with only a handful of customers and plenty of staff sitting around. Great to see them supporting live music and it was nice that they put on a Halloween event- even though this meant a handful of lollies, a photo backing board and one staff member dressed up at least there was some effort there. But the food and service downright awful. If I ever go again it will just be to go for a beer or maybe pizza or chips. If I could give zero stars I would.

The waitresses and the chefs were very kind and the service was amazing. The food was delicious and it was a extremely nice experience.

A great business brewing amazing beer and fridges bursting with the best from local and international breweries. Good for a refreshing sip or an evening of entertainment and the staff are fantastic.

Great selection beers on Tap brewed in house along with other craft beers, as for takeaways there is a huge selection to choose from with something new to try each visit.

Staff knowledgeable and are always happy to help, they can point you in the direction of some great beers if you tell them what you like or help you discovery something entirely new.

Seriously great venue now, an outrageous takeaway selection and 14 beers on tap. For the craft lover this place is a must stop. Staff are awesome and happy to talk through different beers and style and generally just have a good time.
10 out of 10 ill be there as often as possible.

If you love your Craft/Micro/home brews well you got to call into the Yarragon Ale House. I have been looking for a great brew house in Gippsland area and i'm glad I found this place. Around 15 brews on tap, We only tried the Pils and it was one of the best we have had. This place is on our monthly "to call into places" Cheers

The staff appear to be very knowledgeable in home brewing of all sorts. Very helpful for beginners to experts

Great place to visit to stock up on some regional packaged beers. Friendly staff and a nice table out front to sample your purchase so you can decide if you might want to stock on a few more for your journey.

Great service and lovely smiling lady ready to assist, has a nice feel and comfortable for a drink with more choices than you need. The clean skin cider is good buying.

A must stop-over place if you are in the area. Massive beer selection and even the clean skin cider is pretty sensational. Highly recommended
