If you like smoked meat, this place is a gem. The food is fantastic, the owner is a legend, the world needs more places like this!

Big portions and the smoked meats were so delicious! The owner Alex was also so friendly and hospitable, I would definitely come back for a visit again.

The food is too notch! We went for Reuben's but will be back to try some other stuff. Pity it's not open for dinner.

Very welcoming atmosphere and staff. Their flavours and food are amazing and are worth the hour drive for me every time! Their dim sims are to die for!

I've had 3 meals from here and each one has been an amazing food experience.
So much love and passion has gone into the food.
People don't realise how lucky they are to have this.

My family & I were on our way to the Tarrawarra Museum when we felt like some brunch. Stumbling upon Smokery was a true discovery. My parents had never enjoyed burgers or Western fast food but this really hooked them in. Freshly smoked in-house (you can smell it wafting out), the items are delightfully tasty, fresh & of great value. Best of all are the people working there.you can feel the team vibrancy. 10 out of 10!:)

There is not much better than a good meal of smoked meat. I've struggled to find BBQ joints in Australia that rival the wonderful little hole in the wall BBQ joints of the USA. Today I found it.
The Smokery is tiny and intimate, but packs huge and complex flavors. I tried the Dirty Brisket burger. It was dang near perfect.
The redwood smoke flavour infused into the brisket and pork is not overpowering but lingers in the mouth like a wonderful scotch. This is exactly what the best BBQ master's strive to achieve.

It’s not often you go somewhere and all the people are legends. And the food is legit the best feed I’ve had in so long. Smoked meat is to die for, I had the Ruben gluten free and they were incredibly accommodating. Almond milk coffee was perfect temp and delicious. Super impressed by everything here, just wish it was closer to home - I’ll be back!

Really tasty and well smoked food, the service was awesome, shout-out to the waitress with the red hair for her recommendations on the dim sims, the poppers were delicious

Were so impressed with our lunch today! The Ruben sandwich and the Chook Sanga plus a couple of the smoked dim sims on recommendation of the extremely helpful front of house staff. It's a VERY big feed, all delicious. A few little surprises in there as well which was lovely. Took half of each sandwich home for later! Have already recommended to others, well worth the trip to Lilydale.

Love this place Alex is a legend and everything he makes is so amazing and full of flavour coffee is beautifully strong but not to overwhelming perfection

It's not often you want to travel to try the humble dim sim, but it was on their menu and I was intrigued. Suffice to say, it was worth the drive. Just a hint of smoke and cooked to perfection. That was an amazing dim sim! I wouldn't buy the jerky again, but everything else looked really good.

Amazing flavours, delicious smoked meats and sides. Great staff and service. Great feed for the money, thanks for a fantastic lunch.

Went here 2 weeks ago, loved the food absolutely amazing! Don’t waste time with chicken, order the brisket because it’s wow! Would recommend attending hungry as you may struggle to finish! Loved and have recommended to friends to go:)

Five stars for the awesome staff at this place alone (the food and drinks were also good. Not often you eat somewhere where staff are genuinely happy, helpful and warmly efficient. Thanks for a great lunch Team Smokery
