Yarra Valley Racing

Never been before. Had a great day. We were in a corporate tent. The catering was excellent. So were the staff. Down side the beer was just the usual and the wine was awful. Ended up buying Hargreaves Hill over the bar.

We visited the Yarra Glen Racecourse Market for something to do.
It was a great day but even if it rained most of the stalls are under cover.
Most of the stallholders produce their own products and nearly all have tastings available.
Food vans adorn the market with the all important coffee vans spattered around. Its a great way to spend a Sunday morning and with the market running on the first Sunday of every month.

I actually work there, but we always receive really positive feedback on racedays. People love the venue, the views and the whole experience. Highly recommend.

Oaks day in main stand with trotters pacers races great. Food plus service from staff excellent. Wife and I felt ladies dressing.better than melb cup. One problem if you stood outside in grandstand could not hear race call as.speakers all faced towards track. You need at least on turned towards crowd in stand.

Good day out with the family. It is a craft market with lots of choices. Multiple varieties of food are also available.
Nice place to be specially when the weather is nice.

Just want to say my bestfriend had her wedding here on the weekend it was amazing. We couldn’t of asked for a better person to be working then the wonderful Janice she was amazing went above and beyond.

We have been here a few times in the last 7 years, it gets better each time. We usually go on big race days like The Cup and Pink Day and have been on a Valentine's Day. I would suggest take your own gourmet picnic, even though it is in the Yarra Valley the food on offer is not gourmet nor great, funny since it is in the Yarra Valley? You would think the local wineries & producers would put on stalls, they would make good money. We usually get a group together and book a table, but in future we may book a marquee as you never know what the weather will be like. We have been rugged up on cold days and huddled together chasing the shade on warm to hot days as the brollies only shade a bit of the table. It has a great vibe, live entertainment a really enjoyable day. We have done it in a day trip which is ok but if you get in early book some accommodation and make a weekend of it, there is so much to enjoy in the area.

Christmas market, and sooo disspointed with the lack of stalls. I was looking forward to the xmas market as support local and unique gifts- not this time. Spent maybe 1.5hrs there and left.
Oh dear, has covid killed the market life as well?

Great racetrack, very picturesque. Nice club even handed out free icy poles as it was a hot day

Expansive area, no racing, there for xmas market. Mkt ok lots of food options, crafts etc, considered there were too many jewellery stalls tho.

There are no designated parking spots for mini buses or anything at all. NEEDS bus parking please asap

Ok day at best. Conflicting information given at the gates re vaccination passports and severely understaffed in terms of catering. Having said that, nice venue and rather clean.

Brilliant day for the races, lovely day. There was plenty of room to move around and lots of trees to cover the sun. Facilities were great and plenty of food and bars and easy access to betting facilities

Went to the market. Always a beautiful drive and a great place to be. And was a beautiful perfect day for the market?

Went to the yarra glen market. Fabulous, not as big as normal but still great. My only complaint is that they didnt think through the parking needs and made us park in a paddock with grass up to 50cm high. Could of thought that through a bit better.

Attended the Yarra Valley Rodeo there and it was a great night full of rodeo action and a band after the event

I am assuming the horses wont be racing today given the forecast is 44 deg and it is currently 32deg at 10.51am. Please dont reply stating you have moved the races earlier unless the last race ends at 11am.

Great country racing club. Well laid out, well run, plenty of parking easy access in the heart of the Yarra Valley. Affordable packages if you want to dine with friends or a work function. Staff always more than happy to help and a accommodate. Plenty of grass areas to take the kids and have a picnic and relax.

Yarra Valley antique show was very nice.and cheese tasting great idea. We purchased few things. Nice lunch lovely day

Haven't been to yarra Valley club yet be honest can't afford to go but i heard it fantastic there and great track will go one day
