Yarra Hills Secondary College

This school can be really good but it definitely has its down sides, some or even most of the teachers are good but but there is about 3-4 that are really bad. However this school foes over practical classes that I really like, like systems engineering.

Some teachers are good.only that some though. 50-50 take it or leave it type of thing.only you can't.

Good school but a lil concerned not going to name the person but always wanted a hug from me did other stuff wont name and only got 2 suspensions but i found out he has done it before and sometimes i always had my phone on me incase i needed to again record the thing i just didn't feel safe but now the teachers did make me feel better so i always try and stay away from the person but all up decent school made many mates and a couple bff

Ive only been here here for a year but its the best school ive gone to from all my other schools online learning is hard but it has helped me see that the staff from this school will try to help your kids

Last year my friend got threatened with a box cutter for his money, after that he was to scared to come to school in fear the he would get attacked for telling the teachers, when he eventually came back the vice principal was asking about how the other kid was felling about this.another thing about last year, there was a kid in my class who constantly got into fight and hit girls, last year he got suspended 8 times

Pretty good school, i didn't really learn much up until this year, i had terrible math teachers up until year 11 except year 8 Kyle was awesome

Yarra hills secondary college is not a good school for people who want to learn i am a student there currently but i am moving asap all my friends are moving as well and they are A plus students they are all excellently behaved all the time but are not happy with the way in which they are learning in class you will have at least 10 people who will mess around and call out and that's fine its going to happen at every school but when the teacher NEVER pulls them up on it properly that's wrong and they just continue it every 2 seconds the teacher is yelling at the student so we cant learn or.the student is disrupting the class.it has appalling bullying and punishments for the bullying. And it is so bad that some of the teachers have lost it in front of the class and called hem the worst class they have ever taught and go on long service leave. They are very unorganised we will show up to our class and we will have a crt because the actual teachers are never there and we will be in a different room and the teacher wont know until they show up to that class and there's another class in there.

This school has come downhill recently. There are still some great teachers there but as of recent some teachers have had power go to there head. I will not name names but there are many students who are unhappy with their authority figures and refuse respect them due to their morals. Poor effort YHSC!

My name is Rondola Melunkie, I was ex-student here at this school, Back in 1986, The school was great before i discovered the secret, In the c-block building there is a basement containing a medium sized dungeon and recipes for the secret canteen burger formula, The formula is made from students, When people graduate year twelve the graduation party is not a graduation party so much as a year 12 kidnapping where they are put in the dungeon and are killed too make the canteen burger formula, I discovered the secret in 1990 and a teacher saw me but i escaped and changed my identity.

Ever since then kids have been disappearing from the school not because it is a bad school but because I am taking and saving them from the horrible tragedy at the end of Year 12. If you would like too help me with saving students then please join my gang "The Melunks"

I go to this school its so bad dont go teachers are so rude and pick on students with problems and the school is so dirty never gets cleaned

This school is amazing, has its rough edges with kids and curriculum that need to be ironed out but overall i would recommend this school, the music program is great and they have awesome support for art and drama students. I'm still in Year 11 and so far my only bad experiences have been through my choice or the bad kids in the school, but they have a supportive group of teachers and teachers aids so they helped me through. Years of practice and tutoring by my teachers has aided me in creating things such as these. Keep up the good work.
