Yarra Glen Cafe Pty Ltd reviews
45Great little cafe on the drive back from tne ranges. Food was yum, coffee was great, clean venue and friendly staff.
Cute hidden cafe off the main road. I was looking forward to a simple burger after seeing some of the photos on here, but all I could see on the menu was a breakfast burger. I ordered a BLAT which had lean bacon, the way I like it.
The peanut butter banana smoothie was tasty, but is more a thick shake than a smoothie. You need a spoon or to really use those cheeks to drink it with the paper straw provided. You’re better off just drinking directly.
Toilets are on site & reasonably updated (the cupboards anyway) but clean which is the main thing.
The food and service was amazing! Even though it seemed they were very under staffed being so busy the staff still made sure we were looked after! Brooke and Naomi were so nice, with a high vibe and happy energy, always checking in to see if we needed anything! Can’t wait to visit again will come back for sure.
We had a muffin and slice, both of which were really good. Friendly and efficient staff. Great place to call into into.
This is such a beautiful cafe, it’s worth the travel from the city to come a have a coffee, nice meal and then an ice cream next door! My husband said the big breakfast was the best he’s had. The staff were also lovely and the old style decor made the whole experience delightful and cosy:) the owners even gave us a free ice cream for my husbands birthday! Thanks for the great experience
The food was bad the chicken tenders were not tender and had no flavour. The veggie and meat Pattie were cooked on the same grill. Few of the staff were rude, mean and not polite at all. The service was really poor and the food took at least an hour to arrive. The food was also really expensive. Few of the staff members were not polite when we asked how long the food would take to arrive. I did not enjoy my time here. I do not recommend this restaurant to anybody.
We approached this cafe with trepidation and were delighted with a vegetable lasagne and a good coffee. Will be happy to call in here again on our way up the Melba Highway.
We came here based on reviews and left extremely disappointed. Service really slow & staffs are not giving friendly vibe at all. My partner ordered poached eggs which came hard boiled, my food came with ingredient I specially asked to removed due to allergy. Coffee was average
This is a great Cafe in a well restored house. On a hot day the air con was appreciated. Staff were super helpful. Big serves. Good clean fresh food. The locals are lucky to have this Cafe. Worth stopping here.
This is why I will always stop by for a coffee or a meal when I’m in the area:
Today hit a high of 37°. I was in the car park seeking some shade and having a break off the bike after a half day ride. A lovely staff member came from out the back and brought me an ice cold bottle of water. Absolute liquid gold on a day like today. We had a nice chat and he returned to work.
This, my friends, is customer service!
The little things like caring for someone makes all the difference and after visiting the cafe numerous times, I’m always impressed by the staff, the food and the coffee.
Thanks for thinking of me and I’ll certainly speak well of you any chance I get
Nice setting but waited nearly 1 hour for the food to arrive. No mention of the delay when I ordered and paid.
Service and decor is a little scattered (they looked super busy and possibly under staffed) but the scones are DELUXE! Great little country stop
Beautiful little cafe with lovely staff! Despite it being somewhat busy and there being a shortage of staff, they were very welcoming and attentive. Delicious Devonshire tea, scones were cooked to perfection and so fresh! Look forward to returning.
Family rated the scones 10/10. Wonderful experience and space, which accommodated 10 of us. Thank you.
Scones were terrible and inedible. Not that it mattered to the manager/owner, whose lack of energy, personality or level of care at all seem non-existent. Didn’t get any kind of refund, discount or anything else to make up for it, was just expected to pay the full bill. Won’t be back.
Great food. Really liked the menu and probably would have ordered more had we not been a bit rushed ourselves. Ordering perhaps a little muddled as I think they may have been short staffed on the day but only a minor blemish.
Great fun place to have a cuppa and some tucker, Best scones my wife and I have had anywhere also nice staff, well worth a visit
$14.00 for a regular latte' and lemon slice? Asked for a vanilla slice and they charged me for it only to find out that they had none. Could not work the register to give a refund. In the end they said the two where the same price? No prices shown with the food. Used to enjoy going to this Cafe but the last 4 times not what it used to be. Will I go back? Hmm.
Food is 5 stars. Restaurant quality for a cafe.
Generous and beautifully cooked food.
Presentation is lovely.
Amazing serving staff. Friendly and fast service.
We went to Hawaiian night and the food was suburb. Amazing value for money.
Terry makes the best cocktails ever too.
Great wine list.
You will not be disappointed but only impressed.
Go treat yourselves now.
It was an extremely busy day and our party was squashed into the space but the staff was friendly, efficient and the food was good
