Yaring Thai Street Food reviews
57Pad Thai was very yummy, one of better ones I had in Melbourne. Red duck curry could do with a bit more flavour - it was heavy on coconut cream but needed more spices. I forgot to say - they were also really generous with the amount of prawns in Pad Thai. Overall, a good place to satisfy you craving for Thai food.
Insanely delicious Thai food, great menu. Come here all the time and its always up to the same high standard.
Really yummy thai food. I love the pad thai noodles and stir fried dishes here. Quick service too
It is really authentic Thai food and so flavourful! It is a very small place with only few tables but we love coming here to eat. The dishes we order are amazing and delicious. Looking forward to the next time we eat here again soon:)
Disappointing. The chicken satay was passable. The sauce was ok but the chicken itself had no flavour at all. Very bland. The Pad Thai was ok but needed a zing. It’s also was a little bland.
Quality Thai food tucked away in strip shopping centre. Particularly enjoyed their chicken satay. And the Kway Teow Kua Gai. Thoroughly recommend. Limited tables available so maybe call ahead.
Our go to takeaway dinner in the area. We often get takeaway from here when we have friends over and they all comment on how good the food is. Mitcham has a number of great Thai restaurants, we like that Yaring is great for ordering over the phone or online via their website, food is almost always ready for pikcup by the time they say it is.
My wife and I have moved around over the past few years and have always had to try new Thai places. We’ve been to at least 15 different places and not 1 even remotely comes close to yarings pad Thai! It is not even a question! Do yourself a favour and try it, then reply to this comment giving me the validation haha! Insanely good! Best in Melbourne
Good food at a good price point. Nice option for Thai food in the local area. I got a few items but the Panang chicken was probably my favourite. Thai fried rice is also quite nice.
Have to book ahead if eating in as limited tables.
Easy to park out front.
Great flavoursome meals.
Such friendly staff.
Highly recommend the place.
The food quality here is quite authentic, the flavour was not as appealing for us. We had green curry, som tum, Pad Thai, larb Gai, Tom Kha soup. The Som Tum (Papaya salad) could do with more spicy and sourness, the Tom Kha was awesome, and the green curry was good. The larb Gai was not something we would order again. Service was great and very prompt and observant. It's a small place so be sure to book.
I dont know how they got 4.7 but our thai was absolutely shocking.
Worst thai food we had. Ended up throwing away.
Small Thai restaurant, service was attentive and quick. Had pad thai which was ok, not the best pad thai I have had, it was a bit on the wetter side, and quite sweet but lack of that peanuty taste. Tried their soft shell crab stir fry and it was amazing! I love how much veggies & the variety in it, sauce was very nice. And soft shell was very yum! Overall very happy because of the soft shell dish.
Best Thai food we've had on this side of town. Tasty noodles and the curries are delicious, coupled with friendly service.
Restaurant accommodated my dairy and soy allergy and I was able to enjoy Prawn Pad Thai and an amazing stirfry! So impressed with the effort:). Thank you so much for being allergy friendly!
Not a bad spot to get some local Thai food.
Stand out was the pad Thai and satay chicken skewers. Each meal comes with complimentary prawn crackers.
This place is a favourite for takeaway. The food is always delicious, we love the Massaman Curry. Only problem we have is we always order too much!
Wow, best Thai food I think I've had outside of Thailand. Great food, fantastic range and ridiculously good prices. Next time I'll take more pictures. 6/5 go there. Book in advance, not many seats available as its a small shop, so many people getting take away, I envy the locals.
Will return very soon.
1 month ago I had the best pad thai as it was suitably sauce and the noodles were tasty and had slight wok hei. Then I tried again last week and it was the worst pad thai. Dry and not as tasty. Was it done by a different chef? However the duck green curry and soft shell crabs were great as always. Please be consistent.
I have been lived around here for years but I never know Yaring Thai until my friend mention it. The restaurant is so busy during the meal time. Service is friendly, food is good and price is good too. What else you will ask more when you have the restaurant tick all the box.
