Yanakie Caravan Park reviews
69Nice enough. Good access to Wilson's Prom National Park (about 45mins to visitors centre). Lovely service from front desk. Decent kids playground!
Don’t get me wrong the location is amazing however we were very disappointed when we arrived at Wilson’s Prom Holiday Park. We booked a standard powered campsite for two nights. On the website it shows photos of the powered campsites having access to water that you can easily connect your van to however we did not have access at all to a tap to be able to connect our caravan to water. This would’ve been nice to know before arriving. Usually when booking a powered campsite you have access to power and water so not having a connection to water was very inconvenient. We actually left a day early as our tanks were empty (we travel empty to reduce weight unless we need to carry water).
Our first family caravan trip is sure to be a memorable one! Very private site, on the waters edge. We definitely plan on coming back. Thank you
Ripppa spot, good size blocks, right on the beach. Clean amenities and good water pressure
Excellent camping spot. Great, clean facilities. Lovely views of the sun rise of a morning.
Absolutely awesome camping ground staff friendly, shower's and toilet clean we will be back
Absolutely beautiful campsite sitting very close to the prom! The site was very well looked after by the owner/staff and you could tell that they loved the place. They were also incredibly welcoming and accommodating to any questions or queries!
Definitely will recommend to anyone as it was a superbly wonderful experience.
This is a very well designed park. We had a power and water site great size site, plenty of room for our van and car. The ablutions are old but immaculate. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Thanks Wilson’s prom for a great stay.
The position of the park is perfect as it sits on the bay and so guests get to enjoy the view and the sense of peace and calmness that this area offers. Its only a short drive to Wilsons Prom and we loved it because they allow our four legged family members. We stayed 4 nights in winter, it was super quiet with hardly anyone else around. I recommend exploring the beach to the right of the park and also doing the 45 minute walk just to the left of the park (photos attached). The staff are wonderful and very helpful. We will definitely be back!
The Seaview cottage at Wilson’s prom holiday park had breathtaking views and although modest facilities, very good value for money. We have already booked our next stay!
Took the tent here for the first time and very impressed with location / views. Caretaker Julie was great and put us in a sheltered spot (was a windy weekend). We'll be back!
Great stay! Julie at the reception was great, very polite and friendly also helped us when we had issues with our electricity! Highly recommend!
An absolutely magic place to camp! The bush setting is beautiful and with so much birdlife. Even though the park was busy, I still had a calm camp due to the setting out of the sites- all with bush between them. All dogs were on leads. It was lovely to sit at the back of my site and watch the tides change.
We got a power site facing direct to the beach where we enjoy a beautifull sunrise, just with opening my window.
Clean cabins. The crockery and glasses all good, cooking utensils are sub-standard, so maybe bring your own. Some very nice camping and caravan sites. Short drive to the National Park.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Very quiet and relaxing. Well maintained park. Just a short drive into the Prom. Great pizza at Yanakie. Lovely meal at Foster golf club.
Absolutely horrible. Would not recommend.
From rude staff, to dirty campsites, and non functional amenities- I don’t know where to begin.
I wouldn’t stay here if my life depended on it.
Staff so rude lady at the front is not polite at all, she was difficult to deal with. Never staying here again
Make sure you get a premium powered site as they have amazing views over the water. This is the best campground we have stayed in in the area.
Loved it! Such a quiet little park. Couldn’t ask for more…excellent location, very clean and a great host. Will be back soon
