Ya Jinda Thai restaurant

Staff there were super friendly! Atmosphere was really nice. Interiors as well as the furniture and cutleries were very clean and cosy. A little bit pricey than other Thai restaurants and portion sizes were on the smaller side for some of the dishes. However, the food made up for it. Highly recommend their green curry with chicken as well as their pad thai with chicken. Would definitely come again.

Incredibly tasty food, the best curry I’ve ever had. It was my first time tonight and I’ll definitely be back. They were very busy so it was a little slow to come out but definitely worth the wait.

Naa never again. Ordered two pad krapaos from the lunch menu, the smallest portions you have ever seen, it was shocking. We always experienced generosity at Thai restaurants but this place is a rip off

Service was way too slow. Ordered a few starters and some mains + drinks for kids. Had BYO wine. Wine glasses arrived promptly. Kids drinks (that need no prep) took ages. Then after some time we got one starter. Then some time later another. Then after a considerable wait the other starter and all the mains. This is not how we like to enjoy a meal outing. Then upon payment I get presented with multiple tip %age options or right at the bottom 'no tip'. I said going with the bottom one as (1) this is Aus where we DO NOT tip and (2) your service sucks. We won't be back,

Almost $19 for a Pad Thai now. Food is good but getting way too expensive and portions are small.

Love this dish! But don't know what's the name. It contains prawns and eggplants. A little bit spicy but it's okay.

First time trying takeaway here, immediately disappointed by the half-full container. (Tiny portion). On the plus side tastes fresh and clean, but not exactly swimming in flavour. (Very plain). If you want a solid meal with the lid squashed down tight, avoid this place. Looks like a nice place to dine in I may try that next time

Some good wholesome Thai food! The place has a great buzz with families dining in! Being busy is a good sign!

Waited over 2 hours for my food which didn’t come. They kept insisting it will be Only 5 min. After 2 hours of 5minutes,
Ended up leaving with no food.
After seeing other tables who came well after me receiving the same dishes I had ordered.
I have never made a review, hence how bad the service was.
I will never recommend or be going back again.

Great food and service. Very polite and accomodating. My mother is in a wheelchair and they really took care of both my parents. Food is amazing. Lots of room, spacious and wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommended

If you are looking for decent Thai food Ya Jinda is one of the best choices our family would go. Curry and Papaya salad are the best we ever tried and their prices are reasonable for family occasions.

Dishes are getting smaller in size and quality is getting sub par. Still nice vibe and nice atmosphere

This is a beautiful Thai restaurant set on the heart of Doncaster. Fantastic atmosphere and decoration.

We ordered the standard curry, stir fry and of course some grilled meats. Really nice flavour in general but I did find that the stir fry was a bit too sweet

Though the place is large, it does fill up quite quickly so definitely get there early or book ahead!

This is my first time here at Ya Jinda but I've been to Jinda Thai in Richmond many times.

Food here is good too and service was average. Nice decoration and tasty authentic Thai food. We had boat noodles and garlic&black pepper soft shell crab. They were delicious. Thank you.

Absolutely delicious red curry with wagyu and massaman beef curry. Now I just eat these items whenever I'm here. Haha. The staff is very attentive as well.

Took 1 hour 30 minutes for our food to come to our table tonight for dinner. Really slow service. Crab egg was plain, no taste at all. Pad se ew was so sweet. Not satisfied at all. Disappointed.

Went there for dinner and ordered some entree’s and mains. We were warmly greeted at the door and ushered promptly to our seats. The ambience was modern, clean and inviting. There was a wide selection of menu items to choose from that will surely please every member of the party. In terms of the food, the quantity was adequate and the food was both filling and flavourful. Would highly recommend and will definitely revisit.

We went there for lunch and received dinner menu. After we placed an order we found out other tables were given the lunch menu which was cheaper than the menu we received. We asked one of the hall staff to see if we can honour lunch menu price but he said “You need to ask for lunch menu and food is already being made” I rarely write reviews but this experience was very unpleasant. Food was delicious, but with this customer service, I will not go back.
