Xynergy Realty South Yarra

My recent experience with Xynergy Realty as a potential tenant has been nothing short of disappointing, and I feel it's crucial to share my frustration to warn others.

It has now been 5 weeks since we originally submitted our application and the agent and her colleagues have completely ghosted us. This prolonged lack of communication has not only been unprofessional but has also left us in a state of frustration. In the meantime, we have successfully been approved for two other properties with different agencies, both of whom took the standard 2-4 business days to assess and approve our information we are accustomed to.

The initial signs of trouble began with the agency's poor responsiveness, as my three emails seeking information were met with complete silence. This lack of acknowledgment left us feeling neglected and undervalued as potential tenants.

Adding insult to injury, the agency's request for an excessive amount of proof of income documents, beyond the industry norm, created unnecessary hurdles in the application process. This, coupled with their inability to provide accurate information about the property (incorrectly listed the number of bedrooms and description of property), made the entire experience extremely unsatisfactory.

In any industry, communication and transparency are crucial, but sadly, these were sorely lacking in our dealings with Xynergy Realty. The current state of affairs, with no communication for 5 weeks (not even an email to let us know if we were unsuccessful or not) speaks volumes about their disregard for customer service. This indicates how they would behave as property managers, so we are quite happy to have found a property through a much more amenable and proactive agency.

I hope this review serves as a cautionary tale for others considering Xynergy Realty for their realty needs. A thorough reevaluation of their communication and customer service practices is urgently needed to prevent others from enduring such a frustrating and unprofessional experience.

Recently started leasing through Xynergy Realty with Helen Chen as our property manager. Sadly, my time with this apartment unit is coming to an end soon next month, so I’ve been applying for other properties across Melbourne. Helen has been so sweet and helpful by providing rental check references for me whenever required for my applications, although our property management company only recently changed over to Xynergy. Not only that - the lease transfer process for the next tenant to take over has been easy, thanks to Helen.

A quick shout out to Skyla for handling repairs at our investment property with utmost professionalism. She went above in using our preferred trades person and had great local knowledge of the market rate which saved us time and money.

My wife and I would like to thank Xynergy Realty South Yarra, in particular the property manager, Mr. Aaron Boal for taking good care of our property at Chapel Street. Since last December, the tenant had failed to pay rent because of unemployment and financial difficulty. Aaron handled all issues efficiently including matters with the Tribunal and maintained effective communication with the tenant. After we regained possession of the property in May, he found a new tenant within a few days and represented us to submit a claim to the insurance company promptly. With Xynergy's excellent professional service, we recovered the rent in full and had no financial loss.

My housemate and I rent an apartment through Rebekah and Raina, both of them are very supportive and friendly. We firstly met some issues in connecting utilities in our new place, when I reported to Raina and Rebekah, they got back to us quickly and helped us to connect part of the utilities and contact the building manager. We have a good impression and experience with them, highly recommend:)
