Luke and the team were very impressive from our first interaction through to the last. We had met with a number of builders to discuss plans for our second storey renovation. Unlike others, Luke spent the time to understand our council’s construction requirements and planning permit requirements even before we met with him so we could get a good idea of total build duration. He spent a lot of time in understanding our wish list, our design ideas and came prepared with some great suggestions in order to maximise opportunity within budget. Would highly recommend!

We had a fantastic experience renovating and extending our house in Hawthorn East with XL Built. Luke and his team were amazing through the whole process - responsive, efficient and always going above and beyond to make sure we were happy. The quality of both the new extension and the works to the original 120 year old cottage is excellent. We couldn't be happier with the result or recommend Luke and his team more.

We hired XL Built to extend and renovate our home. Luke and his team were able to pick up the plans done by a previous draftsman to execute the vision we had for our renovation and do it with patience, care and attention to detail. We've been back in the property for a couple months now and couldn't be happier with the result. Great oversight from Luke, professional trades who took real pride in their work (special callout to the tiler) and an amazing product at the end. Would definitely recommend XL Built for anybody considering a renovation or extension.

We went through quite an intense process looking for a builder to take on our home extension project…. The reason why we ultimately decided to go with XL Built was their sheer professionalism and we weren’t let down. A week before the appointment they sent through an agenda and list of questions for us to consider to make the appointment as effective and efficient as possible.
When Luke came for the appointment, he pretty much spent the whole time simply listening to us…
As we had undertaken a previous renovation not long before, XL Built was able to preserve and reuse most of our old items…
Never over promised, were super patient as we kept changing things around and in fact finished a little before schedule…
Super considerate of all the neighbours, left everything very clean
