XEOM (VIET STREET FOOD)

Ordered the self-awarded ‘famous’ spicy lime noodle. 30% onion. Barely any flavour. Where the hell is this lime? The chilli was just a ball of birdseye chilli in the corner and the rest was flavourless orange mush. It tasted like it looks. Meh.

Will preface saying the other two meals ordered were enjoyed and no issues. With mine I ordered the xo hokkien noodles with veg and tofu. There was bacon in it, was eventually told that this meal always has meat in it - even if you order the veggie option. They did take this off of the bill and made me a new meal without the meat, but just something for vegetarians to be aware of

Food is good. Every time I order I need to explain to the guy on the register 3x and get a totally different meal every time? I check with him and still just get what I'm given?
I don't understand how this is possible

I really liked the decorations. The iced coffee was nice. The pork was well marinated and cooked - yummy. The service was fast and efficient. Noting that the price is just a little bit on the pricey end but not that pricey.

We haven't been back in a while. But unfortunately we didn't have a great experience. We ordered 3 drinks and 3 main dishes plus spring rolls. 1 dish came out, and 40mins later we were still waiting. We checked a few times on our drinks and food but to no avail. We were very patient and understanding they were very busy on 2nd Jan but after 50mins (and being pregnant) we were not happy. Our dishes still hadn't even started to be cooked. A staff member came and asked us if we were waiting for any dishes. Couldn't believe it! At that point it was clear they completely missed our order so
We decided to leave. Only at that moment did they start our Banh Xeo. I left pregnant and very hungry with a "free" Banh Xeo. The one dish you don't take away because it will lose its crunch. Shame, it's tainted my view and I may not come back. At least not on a busy day.

Not worth the time or money. My wait for takeaway was 25mins. The food quality is average, but way too expensive given the portions.

Extremely nice customer service and yummy and fresh food. The gentleman I spoke to his name, I believe was Xu was particularly lovely. Thanks Xeom team.

This place always has the best food. This time I was so hungry and it was so delicious that I didn't even stop to take a photo! The wait staff accidentally messed my order so immediately made fresh new ones. The lemon grass chicken hand rolls are my fave and I always get them!

Wondered down Smith St with my partner last night. Followed our noses and boy do we not regret it. This place is a treasure, both their omni and vegan food alike is awesome. The place had a warm and welcoming atmosphere and the service was prompt and kind. Serving sizes were fat and that vegan pho was the tiddies.
Just dreaming about cracking open that coconut and eating the flesh

Amazing food! Always delicious! I always travel the extra distance to get food from here.
I love eating in or getting take away.
If you are looking for good Vietnamese food- you can’t pass by this place.

They forgot about 50% of our order until we asked. The food was nice but a bit too sweet for my liking.

Chose this little place for a late lunch, got their lemongrass beef bahn mi which was pretty good. Cute ambiance. The Vietnamese iced coffee was served with way too much ice though, it had barely anything in it!

Ordered here multiple times and it's always so delicious with a great level of spice. Definite favourite and want to sample all the menu!

Pho and chicken noodle just delicious, place are nice and perfect atmosphere with music and lights. Highly recommended

The Vietnamese pancake is delicious. They also make home made chili oil you can buy to take home.

Not worth for money. Food portions are so small. For two people you may need to order 3 or 4 dishes. Very pricy as a vietnamese restaurant. Soup was quite plain.

I was there a few times to get a quick lunch, no service and cashier was not talking nice to the guests and food quality below average for what they charged, will not be going back for at least a while as there are still many options.

BEWARE.
Went there and the staff member was unable to answer any questions about the meals. We ordered two starters, two mains and a drink each.
Rice was really bad, super dry but the rest of the food wasn't too bad. Drinks were average but took forever to make.
Went to pay and the staff member played around on the EFT pad for a bit, entering and deleting numbers until the total came to $90. Everytime he entered a new set of numbers he always started with 9. I was very uneasy at this point and asked for the receipt after I paid. He didn't want to give it to me as the bill came to $80.50. I figured he was trying to be dodgy and it seemed being refunded the money I was owed was a hassle. I got $9 back and 50 cents was kept as a surcharge apparently.
Overall it was ok, but always ask to see the bill as it felt a little too practiced to be accidental.

I went there for lunch today with a friend and we ordered curry laksa, fried chicken with egg noodles and prawn spring rolls
The food generally tasted a bit too sweet but that’s ok, it is more like Western Vietnam taste.
The portions were a bit small, we both thought that putting in more noodles would make it more fulfilling.
The prawn spring rolls was spot on
I wanted to give 4 stars but they deserved a 5 since we ordered a plain roll to dip in the laksa soup and the roll was fresh and hot, it was amazing!

Was blown away by this gem we stumbled by last minute.
Great service and amazing Vietnamese with an extensive menu.
