Not many shops like this left in Victoria, Reminds me of Roj's hobbies. This shop has all those little bits you need when building, and larger items like motors, kits etc. The service is also very helpful and friendly. Love this store

A hidden gem. Great little hobby shop that still stocks a range of bits and pieces we always need, or don't need. Worth a trip to stock up your workshop. Decent coffee shop next door as well.

Visited XCRC after reccomendations from modelling friends from my club last week for the 1st time, but definetly never the last.
Great shop, plenty of building products and brand names, very friendly service and felt at home as soon as I walked in.
Had exactly what I needed plus extras.

Everything you need as an aero modeler is available at XC-RC. The website is easy to follow and shows exactly what is in stock. Anything you need for scratch building or for repairs you can get here. The prices are as good as on any on-line store but you can drop in and get what you need to keep your build going today. Click and collect has been a lifesaver during lockdown.

They should not call themselves a hobby shop they only deal with remote control airplanes and some remote control boats and accessories and a limited selection of tools.

Smallish shop, but good service, no pressure to buy stuff and willing to get things in quickly if you need them. I drive further to go here.

I've been flying rc for 30yrs and I still get tired of the grumpiness/snobbish attitude of nearly all hobby shop proprietors to their customers. Not so Xerxes (right spelling?) who runs XC-RC. I fly a FunCub (been thru 2 so far) and he is always good for parts and advice. And he stocks Multiplex, probably the best engineered range of kits on the market.
