Wyanga Park Winery reviews
66Went there on recommendations by our hosts at our Airbnb. Ordered the chowder and fish of the day complemented by tasting wines. Rounded up with aforcato. Excellent food and wines. We ended up buying 12 bottles of the rose and muscat.
Just spent a couple of nights in our caravan here. Free camping, but with the luxury of having great food and wine on your doorstep!
Super friendly staff, will definitely be back.
Booked the lunch package that included a boat cruise to/from Lakes Entrance, wine tasting, cheese platter and main course. I would highly recommend this package, which is booked directly through the winery’s website, and not Peels cruises.
We had a very informative commentary on the boat, saw a group of rare lake dolphins swimming in the lake, saw seals sunning themselves on the rocks near the entrance, and various bird life.
The winery is in a pretty bush setting, and we were seated out on the balcony overlooking trees. The wine tasting included a range of white, rose, moscato, reds and fortified wines, and the lunch itself was delicious.
A great way to experience the combination of the lake, some nature, and great food and wine.
Was in Lakes Entrance (from Melbourne) with a colleague for work and stopped in for a Friday lunch.
We were welcomed by Alby the Golden Retriever, and from then on what a great experience, everyone was so friendly and relaxed.
The Chef even brought out some bread.fresh from the oven while were waiting for our meal.
Had a great lunch, a nice wine tasting, and left with a bottle of 2020 cab sav!
Will definitely be back for the Cruise package!
Good wine tasting. The bush fires affected the wines.
Delicious food and large portions!
Fish of the day was fresh and not too oily.
Seafood chowder had a lot of seafood.
Staff was excellent and attentive.
Really great food and very friendly staff, making a most enjoyable dining experience for Mother's Day
We went for lunch today and all had the steak sandwich, which was great. My only criticism would be they need to update the menu on their website. I didn’t have any wine so could only comment on food.
What a wonderful way to spend some time! Beautiful outlook, tasty food with exceptional wines! Ellie our waitress was absolutely fabulous! Customer service at it's very best! It was a special occasion for us and we were made feel special. Highly recommend a visit!
Love this place. Even though they were struggling with staff issues, the place and everything was running really well. We had the Gippsland Platter, which was fantastic. The wines are also amazing. You must come here, if in Lakes Entrance
The food wasn’t too bad, didn’t blow my mind.
The place outside was beautiful but the owner or manager (middle age men) yelling to the waitresses and put presseure on them. I shouldn’t have heard that as a costumer. His service it wasnt good either.
Really pleasant place to spend a few hours, with some excellent wines, and really hearty meals. Very friendly and quirky inside, lots of character!
Nice wine good food great service very laid back. Great for a nice weekend hangout and family hangout. Recommend this place. If you are travelling in Lakes Entrance, take the boat ride from the jetty to the winery.
Came here for wine tasting and lunch also a must try BLUSH wine. An awesome environment due the atmosphere created by the great service of the staffs. The landscapes of nature and surrounding is beautiful in its own just for walk.
The food and wine were great, but the staff took the experience from enjoyable to down right incredible. Cannot recommend enough!
Absolutely loved our visit, very friendly staff
Great tasty meals.
AAA+ Highly recommend
One of the best days we have had for quite a long time. Great meals, would recommend Wyanga Park Winery. We will return.
We went on the Cruise and wine tasting. Was a fantastic afternoon. We caught the Peels not from the post office Jetty and theafter a 45 min ride where we saw seals the winery staff collected us in the mini van from the dock. We entered in and were able to taste all wines on offer.
Lunch was also very tasty and fresh.
The wait staff were amazing and also went an extra mile to ensure one at our table had a birthday lunch to remember.
After the tasting and meal, we caught the mini bus back to the jetty and then returned to lakes entrance via boat.
Thanks for a great afternoon
Small menu and small list of wines made by them. First couple of drinks I ordered on the menu weren't available. Wine flight was very good value for money with generous pours for only $8. Main meals were nice although the kids options were a but lack lustre. Didn't really adhere to Covid safe measures as none of the staff were wearing masks even though they are still required.
Excellent service and excellent food with an $8 flight available to try 4 of their wines. Best seafood chowder I have eaten since Boston, USA. Highly recommended.
Great hosts with funny SOH, lovely food and really nice wines. What's not to love about this quirky, quaint boutique winery. Fantastic art work for sale on the walls throughout the winery. You can sit outside or inside plus they have a fantastic open fire with a lovely lounge where you can sit and wile away the afternoon. The winery is set on lovely wooded grounds with grassy areas. Next time we will bring our caravan and stay the night. Put this winery on your to do list.
Thank you for such a lovely couple of hours. Can't wait to get back there.
