20 Abysmal. Tried phone booking and no one answered, so booked on their online booking with message that they would contact me for appointment. Have not heard from them since even though I have not cancelled booking from their system. Have since booked at another radiology organisation without any problems.
Just to update this review, the date of original appointment was 13th July. It is now 27th September and still no reply for appointment. I checked my appointment request and it still appears active. Truly appalling.
I took a client for an ultrasound a few days ago. My client is a stroke patient and non verbal. The ultrasound technician that attended to her seem to have no idea how to deal with people with disability, he was impatient. At one point he was shaking his head and making a tuttering sound. Very inappropriate reaction for a professional who’s dealing with a lady with disability.
Absolute Joke, doesn't answer phones. On hold waiting for 30mins. Call drops on hold another 20mins and nothing. Avoid at all costs. Find somewhere else to go.
Worst booking system I have ever experienced. The 5 min.wait time runs into circa 1hour. System is hopeless.
My wife has had two ultrasounds at this branch and both were very good experiences. The staff were friendly, on time and very professional. Both times were great experiences.
The only issue is that it takes a long time waiting on the phone to book an appointment. However, when the phone is eventually answered, the admin lady booking the appointment is very friendly and helpful.
Phone service still abysmal with your automated booking not even functioning.
Attend to your clients by actually answering calls & not diverting to automatic answering service.
Waited 2 hours for a mammogram and ultrasound. Got put in 3 waiting areas. Staff at first refused to do my scans even though they were referred from my doctor. Rude staff. Sonographer diagnosing me while scanning and dismissing my concerns. Receptionist used a different Medicare card so my rebate would go to someone else’s account- got told it can’t be undone. Yet I persisted and suddenly it could be fixed. Terrible service and terrible experience. Do NOT recommend.
Faxed referral on Friday, rang following Tuesday to make sure it arrived, told yes being processed, rang following Friday to confirm, now told it can’t be found, total waste of time.
I have tried calling all available numbers for the Shepparton clinic but absolutely no answer. Phone rings out! Being trying for nearly 2 hours. I’m asking my gp never to send me there again.
Had an x-ray done 4 weeks ago for appointment in Melbourne last Friday. Drove to Melbourne for appointment and no x-rays had arrived. Tried phoning and can’t get through to them.
Absolutely appalling customer service in regards to answering their phones because they simply don't. Is anyone actually in attendance in reception to answer calls? Going by other reviews, it would appear not.
Could not get through by phone tried for near 2 hours then I tried Kyabram got through to a nice lady who made a appointment for me. CT scan done at Nixon st lot's of office staff can't understand why I couldn't get through the day before the people that did the scan very good but not there fault I have to wait a week for results
My husband had a scan here and the way he was treated was terrible. Very rude and non-caring staff. I wouldn't recommend having scans here.
Cannot get them to answer their phone. I have been trying for the past 1 and 1/2 hours and the phone rings out. Have contacted telstra and the same thing happened.
Is there anyone working at IMED radiology today!
Terrible customer service
I had to go for a shoulder injection and I found it to be as good an experience as a medical procedure can be. All staff were very friendly and very professional, from the receptionist to the nurse and then the doctor.
Was very happy with the staff they are very helpful and try to make you feel relaxed and it is not easy when you have had a diagnosis of breast cancer and are there for routine follow up monitoring. But they are very thoughtful and do a wonderful job.
Horrid. My husband recently had a CT scan here and was treated like dirt. Two of the nurses were extremely abrupt, rude and arrogant and condescending. People with this sort of attitude should NOT be working in the health care industry. The girls at reception were very nice.
I have attended GV Imaging on numerous occasions over the past several years. The most recent occasion being the 28th of this month. I have always found the staff, both reception and clinical, to be better than first class. GV Imaging are operating an unbelievably fast and efficient service with good humour and courtesy. They are very good at what they do.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Was seen quickly, even though I didnt have an appointment.
Horrible experience.
Went for 20 week ultrasound with my wife to find out the sex of our baby, the lady conducting the ultrasound wasn't very responsive to us when we were asking questions about what we were seeing. She kept saying " I'm busy doing this"
It felt extremely informal and unprofessional the only information she gave us during the whole time we were there was that " it might be a girl" we then asked " so it's a girl? " Her reply " well I wouldn't go painting the room pink" she then told us where the towel was to wipe the gel off her belly and where the exit was and then she left the room. I looked at my wife who was still laying on the bed with the ultrasound gel on her belly, she broke down crying. We were not rude to her at all, were dressed appropriately, throughout the whole ordeal we respected her even though we did not get that in return. It was absolutely disgusting the way she treated us and there is no excuse for it.
We ended up going to the private hospital for the 20 week test 2 weeks later which we paid for, so that we had a better experience and actually understood what we were having and to have our questions answered. Another lady we were conversing with in the waiting room had a similar experience at the same GV Imaging. We are never going back.
