Had a going away party for myself tonight and all the staff were amazing, in particular a very lovely ginger woman (possibly blonde, lighting was rough) who I unfortunately didn't get the name of. Was unbelievably fun and the atmosphere was amazing from the beginning:)

Heaps of fun on a Saturday night! Awesome atmosphere, great range of karaoke songs and very yummy drinks!

You walk into this place and you actually go "WOW", its such inclusive and safe venue. Karaoke is SOO FUNN especially when the drag queens are hosting (love Rebel, Hailey & Deja btw), they make you feel amazing when you have the microphone. Awesome cocktails made by the hardest working bar staff, they deserve a medal for throwing their backs out every night and they won't hesitate make sure you're alright. Tea, Seb, Natale & Sasha are the most friendliest bar staff you'll ever meet!
They have super cheap food and cheap drinks, especially with the whole "cost of living situation", trust me its so worth it.
I look forward every weekend to coming here, Thursdays also have bingo and a cute glitter station run by a stunning girl named Alex, she made me feel so safe here <3
This place rules and vibes are off the charts

I went here after a long break from the night life and it did not disappoint. I was met by the loveliest American girl who even tho I ordered the most intricate cocktail they have struck up a conversation and kept the brightest smile. Over the time I was there all the other bartenders kept checking if I needed anything. The drag queen even complimented my outfit which was the cherry on top. However, I lost the bingo to the same person twice, so I had to buy the $5 shots out of my own pocket instead of the bingo prize money.
I will be coming back solely for the personality of the bartenders specially my new favourite cocktail maker.

I want to start this review by saying I love this bar- it is my favourite place to go on a night out and has an amazing ambiance and delicious drinks.

I am rarely one to leave negative reviews (especially for a business that I love), but I truly believe this needs to be put out there so others don’t have the same experience I did.

This review is focused on their functions team. I reached out to them to host my 21st Birthday there earlier this year. The website looked great and it seemed like a reasonable price, I was very keen. I originally emailed in May, however they said they don’t take bookings that far in advance (the party was in September) - but they would pencil it in and I could email later in the year to ensure I didn’t miss out.

I looked around at other venues but ultimately ended up emailing back for a quote in July, and I was directed back to the website (where it states $1500 for full venue hire- I assumed this was the minimum spend amount). At this point the response time was great and the staff were very attentive. They asked for a few more details, so I gave them everything I knew, after confirming the date was available.

I then had to send two follow up emails over the span of about two weeks, only for them to respond 17 days after the initial email was sent. He said he was sick, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and continued on with the hire. They confirmed the date was locked in for me, so I started organising guest lists etc.

I asked about how drink packages/bar tabs worked (as there was no info regarding this or catering on their website), which is where they first mentioned a minimum spend- I assumed this was the amount I saw on the website, as that was where they directed me earlier when I asked for a quote.

Since we’d confirmed the venue was locked in, I invited my guests and waited again for them to respond with information regarding catering and decorations. I also asked to confirm the minimum spend and deposit amount. It took almost A MONTH for their next email.

When they finally sent a response (which STILL didn’t include any info about catering!), they informed me that the minimum spend for the night would be $10,000. This email came about 2 weeks before the party date, and I was heartbroken to hear as it was completely out of my budget. I sent three follow up emails after this, but never received any form of response.

I have no issues with venues having a high minimum spend, however the lack of transparency and timely communication was appalling. We had to plan an entirely new party from scratch in 2 weeks- at that point it was impossible to find a new venue, so we had to host at home. This caused my family and I significant stress, and turned what should’ve been an exciting milestone experience into a tense and taxing few weeks. I am incredibly disappointed with the lack of professionalism, empathy and honesty shown by Wows with this experience, and I urge anyone looking for a venue to stay far away.

Lovely inclusive atmosphere and some beautiful, hilarious, drag queens running the karaoke however the prices are RIDICULOUSLY overpriced. I ordered a lemon lime bitters- no alcohol because I was deso. Wasn’t told the price just had the square machine put in front of my and the bartender went to serve someone else. I then payed and checked to see I’d been charged $14! I questioned this and they said they charge the same with or without vodka. So ridiculous

It was great heaps of fun but me and my girlfriend got kicked out cos we ran up the stairs because we heard Taylor swift and the security guards told us to sober up

Karaoke was great fun but unfortunately the hosts (or MCs) were rude and aggressive, really put a dampener on the evening.

Went here for a friends 30th - we had all paid for the $60 package, which included unlimited drinks and hotdogs. They were so understaffed, only having 2 bartenders on for a group of 30 people plus the venue was open to the public as well.

For the unlimited hotdogs, they only put on 20 for our group of 30. So not only we’re they not unlimited, but there wasn’t enough food for everyone.

The staff also acted so bothered by us being on the package. They would purposely not serve our group and only serve the customers off the street!

Very disappointed by the service and the whole night.

Don’t book a package through them!

Security are awful… I literally came for a drink after a 12 hour shift and the security denied me to come stating I was drunk just because I looked tired.

All I wanted was to sing a karaoke song as my strange-gendered self.
"It's not our job to find you"
No. You didn't have to. It takes 10 seconds with the microphone to say "Hey, we don't have that song, come up and find a new one", and I would have gladly come up and found a new one.
But you didn't. You didn't care. You just ignored it. And I never got a song.

Sam is an absolute legend. He made us feel so welcome, even taking a picture of our group on a really important night. Great music, great vibes. Would recommend.

Nothing ‘wow’ about this place. Bouncers are rude and obnoxious. 2 boys in our group refused entry and given 3 different excuses why they couldn’t enter. I have never been spoken to worse than I have by these men. They have put me off ever going here again. They have certainly given this place a bad name to say the least.

Security was very rude, unprofessional and let 6 females through before denying 2 males in the same group. I was excited to attend but after this experience, I will not be going again or recommending it to anyone. Rather disappointing.

We turned up for the drag brunch on Saturday 16 July and paid $400 upfront. Arrived and it was not open. We’ve tried FB and Instagram to contact them with no success, and all phone numbers are disconnected. Be aware.
