I just had to share my recent experience with a so-called BMW specialist mechanic "Worx", and let me tell you, it was not what I expected. Brace yourselves for my tale of frustration!

I did some research and also heard from a mate of mine about this acclaimed service place, who, as I came to discover, was just a pure disappointment.

To cut to the chase, the first major disappointment was Worx's jaw-droppingly high prices. Seriously 300 bucks, to delete an error code! With a total service cost of 900+ for a basic service is just too much. Now, I get it, cowboy tricks don't come for free, but this was just not cool.

But hey, I'm all for paying and extra price if it means a flawless fix. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. After spending my cash and picking up my supposedly rejuvenated BMW, I hit the road, only to realise that the problem hadn't been resolved at all! Talk about a colossal letdown.

Now, I understand that some issues require further investigation or an extra visit, but when you're labeled a specialist mechanic, I expect better. Trust me, there's nothing more frustrating than thinking you've resolved a problem and then having it reappear as if it was laughing at you all along.

To add insult to injury, the communication during the entire experience was quite a condescending.

All in all, my recent visit to Worx so-called BMW specialist mechanic left me with a sour taste in my mouth. Not only Khalil's shop was expensive, but he failed to fix the issue, leaving me wondering if the accolades were all a bunch of hot air.

So, fellow car enthusiasts, learn from my mistake. Do thorough research, don't be blinded by Google's reviews only, and always trust your instincts.

Not recommended at all! You get ripped off for $$$ even for minor repairs, not a quality work for the price charged and no clear communication instead they will confuse you by using all technical and mechanical terms which is hard to comprehend. Strongly suggest seeking alternative options and do research before you even approach these guys as I have saved $2.5k+ for same work they quoted me for.

The guys did a great job with a timing chain replacement and suspension repair. They put up with all my questions and helped out with a courtesy car. I can't recommend them enough.

Awesome customer service, care, knowledge & very reasonable rates - the best for anything Euro!

Highly recommended by everyone. Had car issue mid-road trip during Easter Weekend. Called them first thing Tuesday morning and they were kind enough to fit us in. The guy figured the issue out, ordered the part in and installed it all by midday. We were able to continue our trip and the car ran perfectly fine all the way home. If we lived in VIC, would definitely take our cars to him. Quick and easy process, also well priced.

Been getting my car serviced here for a couple of years ago, friendly service and super helpful! And do a great job!

Kaleel and the team at Worx Automotive is one of a kind 5 star workshop. I have completed many pre-inspections, services and repairs from minor to major and cannot recommend their services enough. Kaleel is meticulous and detailed in his work and craft, he is honest, trustworthy and prices are very competitive. Generally unlike other mechanics who make you replace everything, Kaleel and team always fixes and recommends what is absolutely necessary, nothing more and nothing less.

Khalil is a professional mechanic and one of the best euro mechanics I have seen in Melbourne. He worked on my Range Rover sport. Excellent work

Have been taking my cars to Worx Automotive for awhile and I cannot recommend them enough. They are always helpful, fair on price and happy to help! Definitely worth a visit, you will not regret it.

I’ve used Worx many times before and have been happy with the work they do every single time. I first attended a Christmas bbq they held years ago and it was clear the Khalil and his team know how to take care of their customers and their cars. I’ve always found work to be done to a good standard and for a fair price.

I have been taking cars to Worx for over a decade. Kaleel is a wizard. There is no other mechanic that I would trust with any of my cars.

Busy time of year and being a new customer I thought they'd be too busy but they took the booking - no fuss. What other mechanics didn't want to touch (too complex apparently) they diagnosed that it was actually a simple and cheap problem to fix, did it on time, reasonably priced and was professional throughout.

I'll be taking my car back there every time from now on. Great place to deal with. If you've got a Beemer - or probably any similar brand, don't waste your time elsewhere.

Right from the get go over a phone call the team at Worx where able to come up with an action plan and form a detailed diagnosis plan for my BMW which had a DPF filter malfunction.

The team did what they could to make the booking prompt as it just in time for the holiday season and been the family run about vehicle it couldn't of happened at a better time.

Once the vehicle was dropped off the team at Worx where very communicative with the repairs that would be involved the solve the issues with my vehicle.

Only days later I was notified that the diagnosis and repairs where a success and that the vehicle was ready for collection.

Since picking up the vehicle it is driving like a brand new car and better then ever.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend anyone to the team at Worx Automotive, professional, organised, prompt and reliable

I've used Kaleel twice in the last month to do work on my Renault Sport Clio. Nothing but great things to say about Kaleel and his workmanship. He does honest work and charges fairly. High recommended and will use again.

Enormously talented mechanic. Doesn't matter if it's a clapped out old BMW or a v12 Ferrari still under warranty. The work is excellent. Fast, efficient and reasonably priced especially when compared to some other euro car specialists who charge double while getting an apprentice to do the work.

So glad I got recommend to kaleel and his team at worx automotive. Prior of bringing our BMW to worx we were quoted $3800 for a repair at BMW service centre which we paid for and the problem was still not fixed! We were then told that we have to pay an additional $2000 for another attempt to fix a noise our car was having as the cause could be from another part. We got fed up and went to worx and kaleel fixed our problem for $600. If you're looking for an honest and fair priced European specialist then worx automotive is the go!
