World Expeditions

In my opinion, World Expeditions should be more flexible with cancellation policies in the era of COVID.

Thanks World Exhibitions for our fantastic trip to Chomolhari! Trip was organised and adventurous. Our guides were excellent as was the scenery and people of Bhutan!

We recently had the most wonderful trip to Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique organised through World Expeditions. It was a small group tour (seven of us in total) of like -minded people. The two guides were extremely knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble for them. Although it was a camping tour, the food was of a very high standard. Our experiences included canoeing on the lower Zambezi River, a village and school visit and numerous game drives. This was our fourth trip with World Expeditions and they have all been exceptionally well - organised and reasonably priced.

We always choose World Expeditions because when you want adventure off the beaten track you need to be backed by a company that you can trust. Trust that they will take you to the best places away from the usual tourist hum drum; trust that they have checked out all of the local providers along the way to ensure that they have the experience and resources necessary to deliver you a friendly, high quality service; and trust that they will look after you and get you there and back safely no matter how out there your adventure is. That's why we always travel with WE and why we love their adventure experiences.

I joined the Everest Base Camp and Kala Pattar trek as a single traveler and joined up with a great group of people, our whole trip was an amazing experience, The World Expeditions crew were fantastic, the guides were very experienced and friendly and the food was incredible. It was definitely glamping rather than camping, we were looked after so well. I really appreciated the help from the Melbourne office who are a great back up if any issues come up while away. Already planning our next World Expeditions Trek with the same group.

I had a great trek to EBC. Joined up with a group of 5 in Kathmandu and we all got along really well from the start. Our head guide, Dilli was really considerate and could not do enough for us along the way. I felt safe all the time, but it was challenging and rewarding. I chose World Expiditions as they provided all the meals which were excellent all the way. The tent sites were also in good locations and comfortable. Train a bit before you go as it’s quite a difficult trek at times as the air gets thin as you ascend. Overall, I had a very memorable trip.

Great to have such knowledgeable & helpful local support when visiting far flung parts of the world.
