I almost never leave reviews, but hoooo boy.

Three weeks ago you guys texted me to tell me that the job opportunity (that I was expecting) fell through and to wait another three weeks for the next one. Three weeks come and go and I have a meeting in-person where I'm condescended to and told they will give me a demerit/punishment if I can't tell them what I want, completely ignoring the texts I got three weeks ago that they had something lined up for me.

Yes, I have preferences, but isn't the point of your job to get me a job that is at least somewhat suitable? I know nothing is perfect, but my god. There is a complete disconnect here between people and it's happened countless times. It's actually laughable.

They made a phone appointment but had no one called, later in the same day, they sent an email saying " you much attend xxxx appointment on xx day" where I already told them I would be work - they seem don't care.

I've done quite afew updates on this group and they have seemingly changed from what they once were over 5 years ago? ! It's a dramatic change that seems to be for the better here but for how long and I rest my case for now.

They can be helpful if you remind them constantly. I've turned up for two appointments to be told my consultant isn't there, very annoying & unprofessional.

Dee is amazing.
She's so understanding and helpful when you feel helpless.
I never want to go to these appointments but Dee was so fantastic that in future I'll be looking forward to these appointments and am happy to comply! Thanks Dee! X

I highly recommend Workskil, the people genuinely care about helping you, providing information and assistance as best they can for your situation.

Dee is especially passionate about helping people, and guided me to realistic expectations as well as providing suggestions to achieve different solutions, that I had not considered.

The other staff were friendly and helpful and also genuinely seemed to care about the difference they made for the people they were assisting.

If you go in with a positive attitude, and be honest with yourself about why you are attending, you will likely also have a good outcome.

The management and staff in the Prahran office are different these days, I believe it to be a much better experience.
The South Melbourne office is 5 star, standing out from the rest for jobseekers.

Really friendly and helpful staff that genuinely care about your future. I have worked with other providers in the past that have not come close regarding their service in comparison. I would definitely recommend their team to others

Terrible place, rude and condescending staff that bully you and they don't care.
The appointments consist of being asked invasive and assumptive questions unnecessarily, and they don't bother to listen to your answers, they talk over you and don't bother explaining anything which you are forced to sign and don't get a copy of. They just tell you to find it in your Job Active through MyGov.
The staff in PRAHRAN, MELBOURNE are quick to dish out DEMERIT points to affect your payments and suspend your right to social security.
There are rarely any staff there, and the receptionist is judgemental, confusing and clearly doesn't care- She should opt for a career change.
The staff chat amongst one another whilst you are having an appointment, so you are forced to repeat yourself.
They will put your resume' forward for jobs in locations that are far away from not only their office but, also from where you live and seem to love reminding you like a broken record that if you do not take the work then you will be cut off.
Be warned, when trying to transfer -they will refuse to approve of YOUR RIGHT TO DO SO- And they will tell the Department investigating that they have done nothing wrong and the staff back one another up.
I am thoroughly appalled by this place and find their staff's behaviour deplorable, especially inconsiderate of mental health and how they impact an individual''s self-confidence, lacking of compassion, consciousness and empathy.
I feel at breaking point with this situation and have never been so disgusted with the experiences I've endured from a job provider.
It sickens me that the Department and our Government's funding supports this scam of a "employment agency", who falsely advertise and claim to assist with helping you gain employment, while they bully you, back job seeker's into corner's and force uncomfortable conversations without respect to YOUR PRIVACY.

Yes 1 star is too much. Big office no staff only ever see the multi tasking receptionist doing everthing. This place is a scam. Even the phone number doesnt work. Needs to be reported!

Business model threats and intimidation like every other agency which has ever existed PERIOD. Abbott, Turnbull, Morrison & Co should be ashamed for perpetuating the mythical "standards" gained by creating this entire industry. Disgraceful.

One star is too much. This company threatened me with the police because I raised my voice to complain because they wanted me to attend their office every single day. They lied when I rang the department. They do not inform you of your rights and lie about your obligations.

They then told me that they didn't want me as a client because I didn't want to attend every single day. I advised them that I was not going anywhere and they must sign me up.

The manager and case worker would not give me their names or business cards.

This was at the Prahran office. Just another dodgy employment agency that lies to job seekers and gets them to do useless things to milk the funding.

Threatened me with a demerit point for complaining.

Was not given any opportunity to have my personal circumstances considered in my job plan.

One star is too much, honestly never have been treated like a human, they need to do their job correctly and mark people off when they attend appointments because just this week they have suspended me twice, once for attending a hospital specialist appointment that they knew about and didn't mark it down, then once fixed, I attended an appointment on Wednesday as required and again on Thursday (today) I wrote my name in the attendance book for Christ sake but this afternoon I received a text telling me I didn't attend my appointment so I am suspended.
My compliance is stuffed up by doing the right thing. I highly recommend somewhere else if your going to be sent here, somewhere that isn't full of incompetence.

I have never been treated more condescendingly by any other company. Spent over an hour sitting in their waiting room waiting for an internal transfer that their staff refused to facilitate, and instead had me ringing up other centres and essentially doing their job. Half the time I was there they called me the wrong name: the fact that they couldn't give my file a second glance to double-check showed how little they really cared. I am a very competent, highly qualified person and they treated me as if I was a second class citizen. Never again.

Typical job provider - can help get work and get qualificatuons - yet the process takes longer then would like and often own efforts lead to quicker results.
