Woolworths Metro reviews
32 Great location, nice little Woolworths,
However.
ZERO STARS to the manipulation into getting people to use self check out machines.
So they still have a couple of check out with real people, but they put up some ridiculous machine that doesn't allow the staff to receive the money for payment, we have to put the money into the machines, really? What a sneaky way, trying to train people into stop real life experience of shopping by replacing people with machines, and this way training people half way there, probably to remove the people from it in no time after everybody are "well trained" into using self check out
machines.
BIG FAT NO TO THIS.
WE ALL MUST SAY NO TO THESE CORPORATIONS TRYING TO REPLACE HUMANS WITH MACHINES.
WE AS CONSUMERS HAVE THE POWER TO REJECT THIS.
THANK YOU FOR HELPING TO KEEP HUMANITY ALIVE AND TRADITIONAL VALUES GOING FOR NEXT GENERATIONS, BEFORE EVERYONE GETS DISCONNECTED BEYOND SALVATION.
I was about to head to the self-serve checkouts but hesitated for a moment and Andrea was super happy to serve me. She was friendly and super efficient.
It’s nice to receive service like this as it has been awhile since I have decided I’d like be served by a cashier in a supermarket. Thanks Andrea:)
I shopped here this morning at 9: 43AM 19-11-2022. I went to speak to the gentleman at the service desk in the Woolworths here. I would leave a name but he wasn't wearing a name tag. The way I was treated this morning made me so uncomfortable with the rude attitude from the team member serving me that I really just felt like leaving and not making any purchases. The fact that I've lived here for 3 years and have been using this Woolworths ongoingly for that time and never had an issue until today has made me reconsider coming back here. Especially considering I'm paying more to shop at this outlet compared to the other outlets outside of the city. I'd go to Coles down the road or shop elsewhere. As someone who works in retail too, the whole attitude from this team member is astoundingly shocking. It doesn't cost anything to be nice.
Pretty poor customer service here, staff just stand around and look at you while there is a massive line. There’s lots of people looking for work if you don’t like your job quit
Love this store the service from the guys at the front is great always feel welcomed. There's just this staff member either a shelf packer or cleaner a short
Indian looking guy wearing a beanie on Tueday night. He was really rude and almost ran me over with his trolley and started to stare at me. Which made me feel so uncomfortable. This is my local store I go here at least 3 to 5 times per week. Hopefully this is just a one off incident.
INCREDIBLY RUDE STAFF!
I don't think I've ever been so poorly treated in a store ever. If I was Woolworths I'd burn the place to the ground and start again the staff are that terrible. I'm not saying the service was bad, but, I am saying, you know, I could grab a harmonica, dip it in brake fluid, toss it out the window on the street and the stain it leaves would be better staff.
DISGUSTING!
Rude staff, abuse from people outside & they refuse to accept cash, unbelievable. Card only! There’s a better supermarket about 5 doors down.
Poor almond milk option for coffee and the SLOWEST BARISTA IN THE WORLD. DO NOT COME IF YOU ARE IN A RUSH.
The Lady Security Guard! She is very nice but I don't think Woolworths company would appreciate her actions. It was lunch time. She was standing far away from the door close to milk section shelf. A cbd office worker went in. Following an obvious someone on drugs. And then I walked in after them. It seemed to me she has started following the office worker to ignore the guy on drugs. He went to biscuit and chocolate section. Cleaned it up and walked out of shop. He had seen me looking at him. He looked at me as well. Of course I didn't say anything. I got my chocolate and went to check out saying nothing
SMALL BUT NEAT VERY BUSY AFTER WORK BUT PLENTY REGISTERS NO PROBLEM GETTING SERVED BY VERY HELPFULL CASHIERS
Limited stuff as it's a metro outlet. The people at billing are super helpful. One of the best metro stores.
Compact and can be difficult moving through the aisles.
Perfect as a last stop before Flinders.
Me and the misso had had a long day and needed some down time. So we chucked on the block, got a block and called it a night. Fark meeeee this was good. I deducted 1 star cause the bloke at the counter wouldn’t take my $10 crown casino chip from last night.
It's one with a lot of options for fruits, berries, bakery, juices and chips. You can even pick you toiletries or some bottles or tiffin's.
Worst shopping experience ever. Expired products. Don’t trust this place check everything before you buy because they won’t refund it.
24May19 1243 A smallish store on Elizabeth Street about 5 to 7 minutes walk from the railway station. Has good variety of fresh baked goods, snacks, nuts, confectionery, generic pharmaceuticals, fresh vegetables, meat, soft drinks and alcoholic drinks (not available until after 10am).
The self help checkouts are very easy to use. Reasonable prices.
Woolies Metro at the Hunger Games/Fury Road end of Elizabeth St is a great little nook to grab essentials you may have forgotten before the ride home. Basic, simple stuff.the essentials basically, with a scattering of Ready Made meals for when you are too over it to put any effort into it. BWS in the corner which I've noticed is always staffed by super friendly staff.
Quite a variety and selection for a metro shop. Lots of gluten-free options, fruit and veg, dairy, bread, and basic toiletries.
Whilst "Woolworths" has the same items on sale "Woolworths Metro" does not. I asked the manager cant you can price match your own company? And was advised we are "Metro" we charge differentially to Woolworths! What a load of BS your the same company.
You just rip ppl
Convenient for basic every day essentials, girl on self checkout was a tad rude, maybe find her a job that doesn't involve talking to people, Like stacking shelves?
made my experience not that great.
