Woolworths Doncaster reviews
56OMG, I have to tell you about Gary from the deli at Woolworths! This man is a meat-slicing maestro! His precision and skill are unmatched, and he always serves up the most delicious and perfectly sliced meats. Every visit to the deli feels like a VIP experience with Gary behind the counter. Not only does he have a great eye for presentation, but he also knows how to recommend the perfect meats for any occasion. Trust me, you won't be disappointed! Gary is truly a deli superstar!
It was clean, calm and a positive experience shopping here. Staff were friendly, attentive and very helpful. There are also toilets inside for customer access.
Wonderful staff experience, all these other posts about Gary in deli are false. Everyone knows he is a lovely man and is being targeted for no reason. Keep doing what you do Gary. You’re the life of that store.
I was appalled by the customer service here, the store was filthy. This one employee named garry was extremely rude to this women and her young child. Garry was also rude to me at the deli, I dont understand why you have a worker like this at Woolworth.
I was completly horrified when I witnessed the appauling verbal abuse direct towards a delicate mother with her infant son. This worker named Gary I believe should be abandon to the back to stock shelves and never be put in the direct oine of the public again. The rudeness and disgusting behaviour should not be accepted by Woolworths Supermarket.
Awful time at the deli, absolutely appalling service by a worker named Gary! Did not have friendly face and spoke very rudely. Fire him.
This is surely one of the worst Woolies stores in Melbourne, but to fair i haven't been to all of them lol, def in the top 10 though. Walking into this store is like a trip back in time to 1992, that's when it looks like they designed this place. There are still no self serve checkouts at all, not always a bad thing though if they actually have enough regular checkouts open with reasonably awake & intelligent life forces serving, this is variable depending on when you go. There is barely any premade cold meals compared to other stores, and quite a few other products not available that are elsewhere. Let's just say i'm glad i don't have to rely on it as my local & lets hope they actually upgrade it sometime soon.
Helpful staff general supermarket visit easy to find what u need but this store needs a big refresh & has done for some years
Locals in the area deserve a better woolies, this woolies takes me back to 1995. And even the selection of fresh produce and meat is lacking.
Staff are lovely I think they would take a lot of pride in this store being upgraded
Wonderful staff friendly always smiling and if I had a question which I did it was answered straight away and they actually walked with me to the isle to show me, now that's service thanks guys it was so good to feel comfortable while K was out shopping.
Sad and tired, weeds growing around the exterior. Meat cabinets are from the 1980s. No self-service checkouts. Limping along waiting for closure and demolition sooner rather than later.
The worst store management ever. You ask for a bag and they tell you sorry we ran out of plastic bags. They can't even manage supply and demand for a plastic bag.
Doesn't have self serve checkouts yet which is pretty rare, lots of employees available to check out your items for you. Also has a connected bottle-o which is always a bonus. Products and produce are fresh and in date, found a few items here that I haven't been able to find at other local supermarkets.
This is a smaller Woolworths. You can get most things here, some specials aren’t available though. Great customer service.
Annoyed that you advertise you're open until 11pm but you've closed at 10: 20pm. I wasn't the only one.
Only an occasional user. Most Safeway's are similar layout. O. K.checkout chick was very friendly and efficient.
Store urgently need to undergo a massive renovation. There are zero self checkout stations, and the stores look dated as opposed to those newly set up stores.
Very disappointed With Their Customer Service, She Refused To Swap One small Cat Food Item Without a receipt when she clearly knows I’m a regular customer! It’s not like I had taken a whole shopping trolley load to exchange! If you are vying for the manager’s post then that’s not how you get there lady! Use your common sense!
Please install self service registers or have an exit isle rather waiting behind a person being served so I could leave.
Always what I need in stock except for actual fresh produce and juice. Produce takes too long to go from the truck to the shelves so they tend to go off faster when in store & as for the juice due to not being refrigerated properly and swiftly after unloading at the dock it 90% of the time will have a sour taste to it which indicates it is beginning to go off. Management should really be onto of this more often, one key way to know is by looking closely at the corn and tomatoes.
