Woolworths Carnegie North reviews
60Went last week and there was a Indian lady at the self-checkout machine has got really aggressive attitude!
Drastically understaffed, and managers who just waste time instead of solving problems or being honest.
For anyone else lied to today here's one of the items that scanned at the wrong price. When raised with the poor staff in self serve who was swamped he asked for produce and was told 'you don't need them, that price is right'.
Gave up, left the items, and circled back.
Love Woolworths.
Always something on sale and l stock up.
Parking underground and located in Carnegie shopping centre.
Pleasent staff and good variety of goods to buy from.
Easy access from the Carnegie station as its about only a 5 minute walk from the station. If your not up for a walk or the weather doesn't want you to enjoy a nice walk, there's a bus stop right in front of the station which could be used to go to woolworths.
Had really bad experience with customer service on 19/03/2023@ 3pm! Self-serve area, Rude staff with bad behaviour!
They have some things that I love that other supermarkets like Coles don't have, such as Calbee cheese chips and Fast Fuel meals which are very wholesome, delicious and nutritious, hands down the best microwaveable meals I have ever come across in my life, in particular the Mediterranean chicken which is nice and flavoursome, with good chef sized portions of vegetables in them, nice and chunky, not the usual pathetic excuse for weak cut off small bits and pieces of vegetable that you would usually get in frozen/microwaveable meals. So no need to deal with that, little mashed up midget sized vegetables. Type found in Maggi noodles. But apart from that, they need to restock or stock their shelves with something better then nothing.
The Safeway down the road removed their deli and replaced it with a sushi man, this alone makes the Carnegie North Safeway the go to.
This small shopping centre has everything I need for a weekly shop but I find it hard work with a full trolley to have to navigate the carpark as it only has 3 sections that has trolley access to cars and Aldi constantly has a line of trolley blocking the access area.
A very large supermarket. Not suitable for people with walking difficulties or just for grabbing few items on the run.

I always visit this store at Carnegie central.today i had to return a packet of lentils.the young lady at Customerservice said that store policy has changed and they can’t refund or exchange any product from 2020 as the manager is very strict.she asked me to go to another woolly store to find out if they are lenient to return my 5 dollars worth lentils 1kg bag.i was sure that this cant be the policy that they cant exchange the bag even with other product.i checked the policy online and it is mentioned that we can exchange, other staff at same counter exchanged for me, but that rude staff still didn’t accept that the store policy and said that the other staff who did exchange doesn’t know the policy.i request to the manager to provide training to your staff so they should at least know Woolworth policy before providing customer service
This is a very nice place to shop! All the staff I have encountered have been great! The place is kept very clean, tidy and well presented!
Yes I actually ended up having a great experience in the store tonight & I actually found what I was looking for which was really good.
Worst Woolworths in Melbourne. I can go to any other Woolworths and find the items I need. But not this one.
Plus never any small trolleys.
I never understood why there was 2 woolworths here and being honest, I always detested doing this one more than Kokaribb even though Kokaribb has more cars around it. The storeman here was a grouch I was glad he left, and yeah just seemed like a waste. Like seriously who's driving right to the top of Koornang to do shopping when there's a woolies in the middle of Carnegie.
The store is dirty. Shelves are bare. Can't blame everything on Covid when other Woolworth stores are kept at a much better level. Employees block the aisles with boxes and big crate trolleys with no regard to customers. It's unfortunatly common for food items to be close to use by date if not past it. Woolworths is my preferred supermarket ordinarily but this one in Carnegie Central is terrible.
There are 2 Woolworths in Carnegie, and this is definitely the better one.
It has a wider range of selection, more likely to have things in stock, and is overall more clean.
It’s also preferable to park within the parking complex situated under the Woolies.
A very large supermarket. Not suitable for people with walking difficulties or just grabbing few items on the run.
There covid plan is not the best no one checks if you check in or not and they have had cases there
This place needs to learn how to spelling out that word " Kind (adj) " for staff members.
Has poor selection of stuff compared to Glen huntly Woolworths. Not enough Jewish food available. Although does have a lot of Asian food. Just a normally woollies.
