I prefer this woolys to the large ones, I've been shopping there for many years. Only 3 cash machines in the self serve, so I usually have to wait. Would be great if all the self serve machines were cash or card.

Had brownies for sale at $3.50 when I went to checkout it was $7 I asked the worker she said she’ll look Into it had me waited for 15 mins and the worker finally comes up and says “they said it’s $7” one of the worst woollies had a big sign saying it’s was $3.50 then why tf is it $7 and it was gonna expire in 3 days.

She has top standards of customer service.

Hate that this is my closest supermarket because it’s hardly a supermarket. No in-store deli, but has a sushi shop. Who are they surveying to think that this was a good move.

It’s a bit of a catfish supermarket really, as it’s a “metro” Woolies, yet the signage is non existent on the outside

Having lived in the area for 12 years this woolies WAS the community supermarket.no longer! Whoever decided to make this a Metro store clearly didn't do their homework on the demographic!
This was always where one could shop for homebrand alternates and forridge amongst Thursday afternoon produce reductions. Most of the staff we knew and loved have been moved on to other stores like checker pieces.
I wonder where dear Robert ended up? Possibly in the 'no longer needed' list with half the items I can no longer get to feed my family.
The shop is surrounded by ordinary people.who live in ordinary houses.not those willing to pay a premium for convenience (those shoppers go to IGA Local as they do stock quality bread and gourmet deli items with a smile). Putting pretty shop fittings in does not justify huge mark-ups on regular items.
Busy locals will seek alternates when you can no longer do one shop to get everything.
My business is now with Coles Bentleigh.worth the drive for a simple car park, shop and leave with list complete.

Woolworths Carnegie Metro.
No choice (so many products removed), no Deli (gone), no Bakery (gone). After being a regular customer for many decades, I will not be back.

Long time staff are wonderful. Shelves aren't too low. Doing there best to keep them full with all the distribution and manufaccture problems these days. My only complaint is they hold onto fresher milk. Not putting the fresher milk out for clients. Not appriecated. A couple of days life only.
Went in today, still not the Brands that I go in for. I hope this isn't a ploy to swapping trusted Australian brands for Home brands. Covid excuse is wearing thin.
Today I went in and it was freezing in there, no heating. Staff were all wearing puffer jackets. I have always been loyal to this store for 40 yrs but might be time to go to the Kooyong road Woolworths. It was absolutely freeezzzinggg.
New changers happening within the store. Rearranging aisles to fit in Quick pickup meals for those on the go and cant/wont cook. A bit Americanized.
I now go to another woolworths or Coles which is easy and quick. Great setups. Sorry Woolies but I enjoy the old fashion, what I call normal aisle setup. Sad but I just cant stay any longer. What ever happened to the saying, if its not broken.thanks for the old days.

Renovation are taking forever. Hard to find anything. Parking a nightmare. Went back today as I shop for clients, most of the cashiers are gone, the way they have stocked the shelves is ridiculous, if I didn't have to go there for clients I'd NEVER step foot in there again

Now a Woolworths Metro with limited hours. Still pretty big, but not a fully stocked Woollies. Head to Carnegie Central for that.

It took a little extra time to find what I wanted as the store is undergoing a major upgrade. I did get what I wanted and the prices were good.

Staff in this Woolworths are very racist and rude, I had a very bad experience today and all I can say is that I am very upset.

Extremely bad customer service at front. Spent over $100, got home and found I bought the wrong bath mat! It labeled bath mat but when I opened it, it was toilet mat! Tried to get refund but got refused from the front service guy who was called a manager! He said I opened it and they can't resell it. Excuse me? F I didn't open it, how do I know it was the wrong one? Eventually I went to another store and got refund. It was a nice lady at the other store. I will never come close to Carnegie woolworth again! What a shame.

Compact store but a variety of grocery items are available. It saves time. Convenient parking. Wheelchair accessible.

The short Asian lady has absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever. It is sad. The tall young guy who often works the front counter also likes to continuously state the obvious with the tobacco policy. You think we don't know being that we are the ones buying tobacco! Instead of replying with your cocky remarks, update your tobacco list displayed at the front. That way your staff don't look foolish.

What happened Woolworths? I appreciate you may be making some store improvements but to even open in this mess is not on.

Most worst of the all the Woolworths I came across. For any information, they say it is coming from management. Bunch of rude people in the Customer service as well as any staff at checkouts. Going to avoid this store.

Medium size supermarket with limited range of products and currently endless products are out of stock. COVID is a wonderful excuse for all problem.
Ok for shopping if you live nearby or need to grab few things on the run, otherwise the Glenhuntly store is better by miles. Staff are mostly indifferent.
Trolleys are clean but wish there was one which is not lopsided.
Parking is usually adequate and the close proximity public toilet a bonus.

Small (compared with other Woolies) and often lacks some items - rare that they carry the complete range of products. Positive note is that after 9pm parking is very easy. Supermarket closes at 11pm. Good deli, good bottleshop. Not much good for soft drink. Slowly adding vegan/ vegetarian options but I'd still go to a bigger shop if cooking for vegos.
Update August 2022 - shop has been hit by product shortages, just like everyone else. Only the bottlo has been unaffected- it's still very good for such a small, supermarket outlet.
The rest of the place can be hit or miss for any given item, but it's clean and well staffed.

An regularly overflowing bin & trolleys left for hours on the footpath, often overnight, is what will greet you at the entrance to this store. Here’s photos 9
hours apart. The rubbish that won’t fit in the bin then blows all over the street blighting the neighbourhood. Just tried to call - no answer. Please empty the bin more often & collect the trolleys more often, especially prior to closing. I appreciate it’s customers who are not returning trolleys to the trolley bays but it appears to be a bit like graffiti, remove it quick & the behaviour’s not there to copy.
Seriously, clean up your act. Literally!
As far as the store’s concerned it’s smaller so it has less choice & stock.
