Woolworths Bundoora reviews
37Good friendly staff at Bundoora, always willing to open an extra checkout when it gets busy.
I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience with Woolworths, which left me frustrated and deeply dissatisfied with their customer service. The encounter was marred by the rude behaviour of their staff, making me question the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction. I went to one of the Woolworths store to buy some stuff but I needed that item in bulk, but they didn’t had that item’s enough stalk. So, I went to other Woolworths store to buy the same item from there, but I realised that they were charging me more for the same item than the first Woolworths store that I bought it. So, I had a chat with one of there staff members, he was not solving my issue and instead he was explaining about the different stock levels in different Woolworths stores. But as a customer, we are not concerned about there different stores stock levels, we just need that if the item is not available in one Woolworths store than it should be available in the other Woolworths store at the same price. The different stock levels, how much stock they have available or the upcoming stocks is not the customers concerned. Firslty, he agreed to do the price-match for one item but when I observed the price difference in second item and asked him about that, then he aggressively told me that now he will not do the price-match for the first item too. I told that person that this is not our concern then he talk with me very rudely and ask me that he can’t do anything with this price difference and even asked me very aggressively that if we don’t want to buy that item than we can put it back in the shelves. This is not the way, a employee is giving answer to their customer and not the way to solve their customer’s issues.
This experience has left me questioning Woolworths integrity and customer-oriented approach. As a customer, I expect consistency and fairness in pricing across all branches of a retail chain. The fact that such discrepancies exist between different Woolworths stores is not only confusing for customers but also reflects poorly on the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction. This experience has left a lasting negative impression, and I am deeply disappointed with Woolworths overall customer service and their staff’s disrespectful behaviour. As a loyal customer who has previously enjoyed shopping at Woolworths, I am now seriously reconsidering my choice of grocery store.
I strongly urge Woolworths to address these issues promptly and endure that their pricing is uniform and transparent across their stores. Additionally, it is crucial for their staff to be trained in handling customers concerns with respect and attentiveness, rather than brushing them aside. Until these concerns are addressed, I am left with a negative impression of Woolworths and am reconsidering my choice of grocery shopping destination. I urge others to think twice before patronising a business that clearly does not value its customers and fails to uphold basic standards of respect and courtesy.
Woolworths, the ‘fresh’ food people. Because when I think of ‘fresh’, I think of the white, fuzzy mould growing on that bread I bought this morning, ”
my son he was eating and when he saw was mould his in toilet trying to trough up?
Good place for quick shopping. The weekly specials are great. Lots of parking available. Right next door to the Bundoora Hotel.
This is my local after moving to Bundoora. I enjoy that it’s not too busy. They have just updated the fresh produce section to finally not look so dated. Looks much better. This store is dated but happy the store will hopefully keep modernising it and keep it a friendly place to shop:) hopefully one day will have a sushi section
Friendly service. Smiling. Helpful. Showed interest in our day. Can find items easily. Will definitely go back.
The worse woolies that I've ever went to, terrible services. 8 out of 10 times i go there are always something wrong with the price.just 30 minutes ago i went there with my whole family for shopping and they've got 2 items with wrong price and we'd waited for freaking 20 minutes just to let another wome tell us the price is wrong, instead of 4.90 it would be 20+ dollars and we had to give up the item.they had the whole stage with vegetables on it saying 4.90 per kg and they did nothing for those 20min other than telling us its 3.50 per bunch (btw i saw a man grabbing a whole two bags of those without knowing the price was wrong, don't know if he bought it). Same as the lady next to us, she've waited for 15 min just because they put tomorrow's offer on today and she got 3 boxes of it and they did nothing.the one in polaris and millpark are way better.:)
Love the hot/ready food here! There’s a sushi place too. A little light on the international food section though
Unfortunately the customer service at this store is so bad.
Chloe, one of the store manager rather than being nice, choose to yelling
Very bad behaviour

Im a regular shopper at Bundoora Square Woolworths and feel i must compliment the store and one particular manager. "Bridget", on every occasion with every request has gone out of her way to assist. She has been patient, polite and extremely helpful. While all your staff show similar qualities I single her out as she seem to go above and beyond in assisting customers. Congratulations
Been going there for 20 years with mum every one knows us and are so friendly towards us great people love them for their help.
Quiet place to shop. Not many people in the shop. Having trouble getting tissues at present. They reckon they are getting them but the shelves were empty in 3 different Woolworths stores.
Great place to shop for fresh foods, meats, deli and other daily necessities. Very clean environment and friendly atmosphere. Spacious, organised and easy to follow lay out in searching grocers from aisle to aisle. Staffs are very helpful and approachable. Definitely a great part of the local community in Bundoora.
I've stopped in 3 times in the past week and waited at the service desk without being served and have had to walk out all 3 times. Even as a staff asked for me to be served the lady behind the service desk decided to ignore her.
Just moved to the area highly recommend not visiting.
Same thing in the BWS inside the store had to also leave after no staff arrived.
Have a larger range of products available in any given category than Coles but in my experience the fruit especially is often not the freshest and as far as serviced checkouts, Coles beat them hands down.
Recently installed/new self check out machines are the pits; slow as a wet week, and the public toilets inside the store are kept in a disgraceful state.
Dont know why. But their fruit and veg section seem fresher and better stocked than the other woolies in the area
Every item l needed was on special today, awesome.saved heaps. Plus 10% of my shopping with all the credits l benefit by have Woolworth car and house insurance
Time for an upgrade. One of the worst Safeway’s around. Hardly anything. Rather drive to Ivanhoe or move to a coles
Great food lovely helpful people, love the underground carpark. Love the shopping trolleys made from recycled plastic milk bottles.
Went to the self check out counter and was served by a very rude customer service representative who was a young male. Totally disgusted by his service. 1st time having such an encounter.
