Woolworths Bright reviews
47Good store, extremely busy over the holiday period as you would expect. Had everything we needed, plus alcohol right next door.
Super busy, but the staff have the influx of tourists under control. Well stocked and well priced. Great location and easy to access.
The shop is ok. Very busy though, thus, expect to wait when checking out.
Parking can be limited and quite hectic on the day we went.
First time visiting this store won’t be back went to get a trolley to do shopping none in trolley bay was told have to get one from in park as they had no one to get trolleys, with staff standing around, went to check out all where closed there was on checkout attendant that had closed sign up who told me to go to register next door he then came to serve me why couldn’t he put me through the register that He was at he then stuffed all my groceries into on bag overflowing when I gave him heaps of bags and his attitude was he really didn’t want to be there.
Hey it is a Woolies, they are all the same really. Unfortunately I am yet to go through a checkout where the operator moves faster than snails pace. Must be the holiday atmosphere.
It's a woolies has everything you want in the grocery line and plenty of what you shouldn't have
Don't listen to the haters.
On Thursday the 10th of November, myself and two friends entered into what we expected to be a four star woolworths. Do not be deterred by the average rating of this establishment for we received excellent service from a woman labelling salad, who I could only describe as polite and friendly yet gruff.
I do not usually rate Woolworths so highly as I can't say I'm a fan of a grocery monopoly pushing out many smaller and more local producers. If you can, go to a local supermarket, not a franchise.
All in all, just a regular supermarket, as long as you can work self checkout you'll be fine.
Avoid shopping here if you can. Staff stock the shelves during peak shopping hours making it impossible to get around already narrow aisles.
Attendant serviced registers are rarely open, forcing customers to use self service. The self service machines then, more often than not, glitch forcing your entire shop to be rescanned. All of this could be eased by understanding staff, unfortunately however staff are less than accommodating or understanding of the customers frustration in these circumstances. An upgrade of the entire store front and retraining of staff is well overdue for this busy holiday town.
Great place to stop just before heading to Mt. Hotham. Instead of carrying all the groceries from Melbourne you can get your essentials here just before heading up to the mountain. I usually fill up as well so that I don't have to worry about running our of fuel on the way back.
Great place to nick in and grab something quick.
I went in this morning and saw only 3 other people shopping.
Poor customer service, we got served by a young female who probably identifies as a tortoise in a shell on just how slow and delayed she was in the check out, holding up the line and was throwing our groceries. Also was very rude and seemed very judgmental.
Over priced and no nice flower arrangements they all looked at least a week old disappointing the waurn ponds woolworths is so much better felt they were ripping off the holiday makers
The usual cheap food. But I guess you get the quality you pay for. Didn't improve our option Woolworths.
Well set out supermarket, pretty easy to find everything you need. Had a few good specials on as well. Staff were friendly and getting everyone through the checkouts as quickly as they could. They understand a long weekend can get busy and had enough staff on to manage it.
The worst customer service I’ve ever seen with rude and weird behaviour. The old guy didn’t even ask for a bad just drop after scanning.
Great to have a Woolies around the area and it was a great pit stop especially when you have kids.
The staff didn't look too friendly, they were restocking and were annoyed with people getting in their way. To that I say don't stock whilst store is busy?
Surprised to see a woollies in Bright. I was just expecting a independent supermarket which it has. Very good well stocked.
Only 2 supermarkets in town and this Woolies is bigger, cheaper and better than the IGA. Great range of goods
What contempt of their staff and customers the Woolies leadership demonstrate. They now refuse to pay night fill wages, so we trip over stock and search empty shelves, and good, embattled staff try to work around customers.
Very impressed to see the size of the shop.its very convenient for the tourist to find necessary groceries.
