Woolworths Altona North reviews
42Today the manager at Safeway had refused all students from bayside campus to enter the store and serve them the poor children were so stressed what had happened he said they needed a guardian with them to enter this is crazy he was so rude and also his workers were so rude to the kids
Of late there has been a lack of staff at the borack sq. Altona North store. This puts so much pressure on existing staff. This store doesn't have a lot of stock compared to larger Woolworths stores and there is no self service. Service of late is very poor with new employees in which English is their second language and can't even have a decent conversation. It beggars belief why this store is still open given the fact there is a very large Woolworths store just down the road on miller's st
Also their very small liwour store (bws) lacks a decent range of alcohol.
If you avoid this store please do. I don't recommend this place and for some of the good employees in which management just keep pushing them beyond their limits. Shame on Woolworths management
As I walk through the aisles of Woolies with Seth
I take a look around and realise there's not much left
I like this smaller easy to quickly get in and out supermarket.wish it had a few (2) self serve units to make it even faster
Shocking especially about 6 pm onwards.
One young man as cashier and quite a few customers. I wish I don't have to shop there but it is convenient. Catalogue always late. A few of the women on the floor and in smokette very interested to be out having a smoke.
Convenient little Woolies but the service is dire. I’ve been looked up and down by the people working the checkouts more than once. I don’t think anyone who works here is particularly friendly. You can clearly see the frustration between staff. Almost every time I’ve come here I’ve seen young employees being yelled at by higher up employees. It’s sad, really.
Very small store.
No self serve checkouts, which means you always wait in a queue to be served.
Small bottleshop instore too.
THE BEST, MOST-EFFICIENT, MOST-EFFECTIVE, MOST-PROFESSIONAL, AND FRIENDLIEST WOOLIES-STAFF; ARE AT BORRACK SQUARE WOOLWORTHS ALTONA NORTH!
Store is messy, service is slow and limited stock options. Such a shame, I grew up in the area and have seen his store head South.
This store is a bit outdated but still fulfill its purpose. Although is quite strange the keep it open after the new Woolworths in Miller's junction, that store is 2 times the size of this and much more modern. I guess it doesn't harm anyone to have more stores closer to the others.
Very friendly stuff! Operating hours are good! It is a smaller version so don’t expect everything you need will be available.
Not a bad Woolies if you need your essentials but if you're looking for range, try elsewhere. Often this store is out of stock or just doesn't stock certain products. Very understaffed too.
The good news is. As of only a few weeks ago they are now open until 12am!
After all our strict lockdowns in Melbourne & living through them with so much freedom & quality of life taken from us, having a local supermarket open past 10pm makes me really happy, Thank you! I appreciate you extending your hours. I like flexibility, I’ve already shopped two or 3 times within those extended trading hours when I normally would have been at Coles due to proximity.
Not so much crowded and easy to shop but the place is small, it's better to buy grocery after 9.30 pm if you want to finish quickly.
This Woolworth is pretty good a lots of friendly staff would give you the time of day if you need help or assistance i like shopping at Woolworth.
Brand new store.
My poor review is only due to the high level of technology. No cashier, 100% automatic, a robot is looking for "spilts so we don't slip". A little strange and not a very enjoyable experience to go shoping and don't interact with a sigle person.
When I have time, I'm driving 5 minutes extra to go and support a different store.
This is my personal experience, some people might love it
Not pleasant, 1 of the managers at this store is always rude. Short lady with long brown hair and glasses. Shes such a miserable thing
Friendly staff. Small store so doesn't have a lot of the advertised items. Good enough to get all the essential items you need!
Very well stocked, store very clean and presentable. Staff very friendly and cooperative when queried by customers for location of items etc. Ample non meter parking which makes it more enjoyable to shop. It's located in Borrack Square so there are other specially and hot food outlets as well.
Really bad. Herbs were not fresh. This whole shop looks 2eurd as well. The shelves way to high. I felt everything was pressed. Not much room inbetween the rows. Just not beautiful
