Woolworths reviews
27 Place is great and prices are compatable with store specials,
Only a couple of miserable older checkout ladies or moreso one in particular that works in area of smokes purchase, very miserable negative look aboit her, needs a good root
She would be the only negative experience i have there, otherwise lovable relaxed place to wander around witb plenty of smiles from passer by shoppers
Brought some fresh blue Grenadier tonight for dinner, when I got home & cooked it and took a bite was hit with a strong smell of Ammonia, a sign the fish was off & obviously it went straight into the bin.
You need to lift your staff training & follow the food safety guidelines more closely
Not impressed Woolworths, the not so fresh food people!
Very hard to purchase sourdough olive loaf sometimes have to go to another woolworth store to get the item I want, this is the same at Mornington East, this time I returned to rosebud Central, they always seem to have it now after many complaints. I managed to get all but the olive bread, the stock range is excellent.
Its ok as far as supermarkets go although parking is a bloody nightmare. I like the instore bakery but I think the quality of the deli and meat has gone down hill as have the fruit and vegetables. The store also seems to be harder and harder to walk around with a pram with constant obstacles being left all over the store.
Just want to say a big thank you to the girls on the floor, picking the groceries for the customers. They are always very helpful if I ask for assistance when I cannot find a certain product. Thank you.
Good parking
Friendly staff who are easily found around the store who are willing to answer your questions.
Store is clean
I saw a pleasant boy working the trolleys named Nik help an elderly lady that was struggling with her shopping, he also helped with unlocking a trolly with a great attitude. This is why Benton's square Woolworths has secured a customer, their employees are always willing to help.
I appreciate the attention to food safety and cleanliness in this place. I feel confident in the quality of the products I purchase.
Very first experience of online direct to boot shopping (thanks to Covid!)
Easy to follow ordering groceries, easy to pay (not so easy impatient husband who took off before SMS was sent and then took the mobile without WiFi.enough said!). Apparently girls at front desk were more than helpful. Groceries picked up.all as ordered. $10 discount for first experience and a beautiful note and chocolates! Can Woolworths Mornington East get any better.probably, but at the moment I can't see how! Husband on the other hand? Probably not!
My online experience was really great but cannot wait to get back instore pushing my trolley and as you would appreciate buying way more stuff than is on my list!
It's a good store but there is a support staff at the self checkout till who's quite old enough and that guy is a racist. He's selective towards the local nationals and cares less about the other nationals. That's the only disgusting part of the store and other than that, it's a great store.
Nice modern supermarket, with trolleys that are light & run smoothly (yes, really!).
Trolleys could do with a hook for your shopping bags though.
I had the pleasure of being served by a lovely young lady by the name of Milly with the beautiful hair. A terrific choice of hire Woolies. Milly was engaging, pleasant and genuinely interested in her interaction with this old timer. It’s nice to see the younger generation being so respectful. Keep up the great work Milly and thank you.
Thank you to a lady at the desk today who went above and beyond to retrieve my docket to enable me to get a refund on returned item. So helpful
Parking around Bentons square is shocking and a challenge to navigate on a thursday! I find prices of some items at this supermarket slightly dearer than neighbouring suburbs, and/or items are not stocked anymore. I end up going to Coles.
Sunday staff always seem very unfriendly. I felt invisible. I was at the checkout for about 5 minutes and the supervisors gave me eye contact without any kind of acknowledgement. When the lady behind me walked up to the register they opened a checkout and took the lady. My check out operator (although very polite) put my 3 litre milk with my cleaning products and potato chips. All staff need training.
Can management please send more staff to the deli. One staff member serving while 5 or 6 people wait in line. Serving customers is probably more important than stacking hot dogs in the showcase. I left and bought my deli items elsewhere.
Woolies has an enormous range to choose from. Its very clean and well stocked. Nice wide aisles.
Staff were not helpful when asked questions. And some price tickets were in the wrong place so things didn't scan at the ticket price.
Best time to get a park is late in the day or early in the morning. Otherwise it can be tricky.
Bloody expensive and a total rip off really disappointing 10 years ago they were cheaper then Coles now Coles is cheaper cigarettes more expensive then at Coles among other things its really disappointing I spent $95 at Woolworths and got two bags of shopping where I can spend the same amount at Coles and get four bags of shopping and more food the price of meat at Woolworth is rediculas its way to expensive for a pensioner vegetables just as expensive it is really disappointing and upsetting when things are so expensive and humiliating when you can't afford something and you have to put it back
