Woodleigh Waters Medical Clinic reviews
45Had been sick over Christmas and needed a med certificate. Dr Abdul seemed more worried about being caught about lying to my boss about being sick (when I have the flu) never coming back here again. Useless
Very poor. Was recommended to see this doctor for medication I needed. She did not seem to know what she was doing. Every visit was difficult trying to communicate with her. I reached out to the practice manager who advised they would assist.
I then recieved a call from the doctor advising I should find another doctor. This is not easy to do as there are limited doctors that prescribe the medication I take.
I was told by the doctor it was difficult for her as she had to have an operation and would be away for a couple of weeks and that she was in menapause. The practice manager advised the doctor could not care for me due to the operation even though I only needed a monthly script. I found this quite unprofessional.
The manager advised it was in my best interest to find another doctor even though I advised of the stress of having to do this now with Christmas and my current health situation.
It is clear this doctor and medical centre do not really care about the health needs of their patients. Although it is causing me considerable stress to locate another doctor at least I will not have to deal with this doctor again.
I have experienced considerable pain and loss of sleep for some time now. I told this doctor and explained I felt it was related to the medication. Her response was that I should increase the medication even though when I have done this in the past the pain was worse. At my request she prescribed anti inflamatories. Luckily I did not follow her advice and decreased the medication. The pain has decreased since doing this.
The doctor did not order any tests to try and find out why I was experiencing the pain just told me if I only take the anti inflamatries occasionally I will not have to have regular blood tests to check they are not damaging my kidneys. I still do not know why I have considerable pain in many joints but am going elsewhere for help with this.
On one occasion the doctor made me wait while her and reception staff got the printer working even though I asked for an escript twice.
I have seen many doctors over the years and some havnt been great but not experienced the issues I have had with this GP before. It has caused me alot of frustration which is why
I went to management.
It's a shame that instead of addressing the issues with the doctor they wanted me gone. I felt there were challenges with communication and not being listened to. I believe doctors should try to communicate with people regardless of nationality but apparently doctors get to choose who they want as patients and do not have to be accountable.
I hope no one has to experience the level of frustration I have with a healthcare provider, especially when prescribing Gps are limited.
Dr Wai is amazing. I followed Dr Wai here from another clinic. She's very caring and just an amazing Dr.
Met Dr. Emily Wang and first she asked was why have you come here when you have a family doctor, she did not attend to me with care, was very careless in her demeanour. When asked about the issue I went in for, she says “check with your family doctor with other queries. So I left with no diagnosis and extremely disappointed. How can a doctor be so careless about a patient regardless of the patient being a regular or not? Can’t call these humans a doctor
Clean clinic with on-site pathology, pharmacy and dental. Ladies at reception are wonderful and helpful! Nurses are also great! We moved suburbs but still choose to come to this clinic, that's how much we love our doc! Needs more parking spaces though.
Called in to ask regarding vaccination for my son but the reception lady was extremely rude which was very discouraging. Highly NOT recommended at all.
I have been seeing Dr Aung for more than 3 years. She takes her time to ask, listen and examine. One time, she made me stay a bit longer and did a few extra checks to be sure that I was alright before she let me go. She never rushes during appointments.
I recently had a dental cleaning appointment and it was a great experience from start to finish. The clinic was clean and modern, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The dentist who performed my cleaning was extremely thorough and gentle. She took the time to explain each step of the process and answered all of my questions.
During the cleaning she used state-of-the-art equipment and tools to ensure that every nook and cranny of my teeth and gums were cleaned. She was also very gentle, which made the cleaning process painless and comfortable.
Overall, I would highly recommend this dental clinic for anyone in need of a thorough and professional cleaning. The staff was knowledgeable, the facility was clean and modern, and the overall experience was top-notch. I left feeling confident in my oral health and looking forward to my next appointment.
I see Dr Wei at Woodleigh Waters Medical and she is the best doctor that i have ever had. Empathetic, thorough, explores all avenues and great at following up.
I HIGHLY recommend this practice!
Walked in without any appointment for an emergency (for my sons broken arm incident). I got the empathy from the receptionist who booked the appointment on the spot. Special mention of Dr Jatt who guided us very well and got his nursing staff to attend to the injury, he also SMS’d the other clinics with the details before we reached. Need more doctors like him.
Doctors never pay attention to what you are saying, always in hurry to finish the appointment. We have to wait long time even after an appointment, what is the point of taking an appointment. Very disappointed….
Dr's here are amazing and so thorough.been going here for many years and Dr Aung has helped me so much!
I like to thank Dr Emily Wang taking extra precaution to even call the ambulance as my sons heart rate was high. Children can be ignored easily and if you know this boy cannot explain alot she took extra effort. I appreciate her care, time and alerting us.
Dr Amalan is an amazing Doctor. Great bedside manner. The best one to see here but hard to get an appointment with.
This clinic used to be such a warm and welcoming clinic until it changed hands and staff. I’ve been coming to this clinic for 10 years as my doctor is irreplaceable in my opinion but the cold unfriendly and rude front desk staff make it incredibly difficult to remain.
I understand that front reception is a difficult and at times chaotic working environment but having done this job myself for many years I struggle to remain polite and pleasant to these people. You’re the first point of contact for sick people, PLEASE if you’re reading this try and remember that no one likes coming to the doctors and when you’re unwell a friendly smile and pleasant manner from reception staff can really go a long way.
Great clinic, staff lovely helpful ànd very nice. Good doctors who care about their patients
I was treated very rudely by the asian lady at the front desk.need to give her training towards empathy, caring and how to manage tone of her voice.her lecture to me could hear everyone at the front.it made me utterly stressed and embarrassed. I been working in health industry for over ten years.never been rude to our patients. My personal opinion is, people who work in health industry need to be extra polite and willing help there patients anytime with no hesitation.
I had a Telehealth phone appointment booked with dr Emily wang and that will be the last one I book with her.
I had a horrible cold on the weekend and booked with dr wang in hopes of getting rid of this cold or some how relieving it But instead I was told to take a pregnancy test…. Than dr wang rambled on about why she’s not giving me antibiotics but then also at the same time sent me a prescription for antibiotics.
This Clinic has the most NON CARING Doctors. No compassion what so ever its more like a delicatessen where they call out the next number. Always running very late and half of them dont even speak English clearly.
Reception is not very clear with the Face Mask protocol. While taking a booking they don’t inform us to bring one in and then at the reception they are ‘selling’ us mask
