A lovely way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Our guides were extremely supportive and helpful to every rider.they had their work cut out for them with most of us too. The horses were gentle, calm and responsive. A big thank you to Gerad, Ryan and the Woodlands Trail ride team.

We took our two girls for their very first ride, they rode Chino and Jake. The instructors were friendly, professional and passionate. Our kids loved it and we will definitely be back for a family ride. So happy we picked Woodlands for this special experience.

This was our second private trail with Fede. She is as amazing! Made it fun for my kids (who are good little riders but she also made sure they are safe!). Very awesome private ride completely recommend doing a private ride with Fede to be able to truely enjoy the city and farm environment

Had an amazing experience taking the riding tour around the property. The staff was friendly and made sure to accomodate my level (beginner). The instructors are open and willing to answer any questions about the horses or riding that you have. Would like to come back and take a riding lesson one day.

I would highly recommend them as they provide great horse rides and classes as well as friendly and professional customer services. We have had a wonderful experience there and really appreciate it. 3 of us went for an hour ride, with Gerrard as our instructor. The horses are amazing, the property is beautifully kept and the people are wonderfully kind and patient. Highly recommended for all levels of competency. Will go again soon.

Can’t recommend this place highly enough! I’ve had a few lessons with Ash and will keep on going back! Her knowledge of horses and riding shines through in her unique, firm but completely amazingly encouraging approach. She’s unbelievably observant and attentive and will break a bad habit before it even exists! Great fun. Highly highly recommended

I visited Woodlands Trail Riding for the first time today and had such a wonderful experience!
I had Ash as an instructor who I highly recommend, she was amazing and makes riding so easy with her excellent teaching and true passion for horses
I adored Chopper the horse and looking forward to my next visit!

Attended a 6th birthday party; the ponies were great and 3 ponies across the kids attending worked well. The Woodlands staff were friendly and welcoming; we even enjoyed peeking in at the other animals around…my daughter has asked for riding lessons nearly every day since!

What an amazing experience. The amazingly friendly Celestè was so friendly and informative, take my hat of to her for basically running the hour trail along side the horses assisting everyone. Gerard was so friendly and informative and patient with my babbling daughter on the horse just behind him. Would highly recommend them for trail rides, classes and all on offer.
Get rid of that lockdown depression with a great trail ride and friendly informative bunch.

My sister and I had a fantastic first riding lesson experience with our instructors Tam and Celeste! Both instructors were patient, professional and supportive! We can’t wait to continue taking lessons with them. The vibe at Woodlands is welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend to anyone who is interested in learning to ride no matter how experienced you are.

Today I had the best experience on a trail ride.my guide was professional, knowledgeable and a fun riding partner. His passion for horses was beautiful to see.i was given Clyde to ride, a clydie x. This horse was a complete gentleman. He did not put a foot wrong. This horse is very special.and was awesome to ride. It was good to see such well trained, well cared for horses. Thank you for such a memorable experience.

I would highly recommend Woodlands because I went for lessons, 2 months ago and I had the best experience possible, the coach was soooooo kind and friendly and the horses were very patient, then when lockdown came they happily said they would postpone my lessons. Perfect place for horse riding.

I was extremely disappointed with the service and lack of communication I received as I am still waiting to receive our refund of $180.00. Due to the NSW coronavirus outbreak during Christmas my friend could no longer come to VIC because the border closed. I also could not attend the ride as I had to isolate at home following a test. I was told I would not be entitled to a refund as it was less than 30 days notice. Despite providing proof (medical certificate confirming my test) and adequate notice of a week prior we have not received our refund and all my emails and calls have been ignored with no response.

Due to these unforeseen events I believe we are entitled to a refund as we did not cancel due to late notice or change of mind however we both could not attend due to the coronavirus outbreak.

It is extremely disappointing a business would not accomodate us due to these circumstances that are completely out of our control.

EDIT: Belinda has contacted me and organised a full refund, and apologised for the miscommunication. Great result from unfortunate circumstances.

I have had my booking cancelled twice now, with the same generic SMS sent a few days before we are meant to go. I have tried contacting the company via SMS and email (and FB messenger just now) to no avail, I would like a refund given they are unable to provide the service I’ve paid for.

What an amazing time we experienced. We decided to do this for our daughters 5th bday and boy did she love it. It was hers and hubbys first time on a horse. Kat our guide was amazing and was helpful checking in on her. Cant wait to do it again! Thanks guys

I went for a trail ride this morning and absolutely loved it. The place was incredibly beautiful and the instructors were lovely. Some constructive criticism though, they were clearly under staffed this morning. I'm not sure how many instructors should come along on the trail but we only had two girls guiding the horses being ridden by children. We didn't really get much instruction about how to ride and off we went. I thoroughly enjoyed my ride until my horse bolted and dragged me for a good 20 to 30 seconds completely out of control making me fall pretty hard. I totally understand these things can happen and I am by no means blaming Woodlands or the girls. But I do think more staff would have helped instructing riders and guiding horses. I had to get back on the saddle feeling pretty shaken and one of the girls had to guide my horse back to the stables. I would have also appreciated having someone check on me after the ride. I'm still pretty sore and think I was lucky. It could have been a lot worse

What an awesome day out with the crew at Woodlands Trail riding. The kids fell in love with the horses, the adventure thru the national park was a great experience and Kat our guide was a gold star. Get down there and go on a 2 hour ride. Thanks so much for looking after us so well.
