Woodlands Restaurant & Bar

We waited an hour for our main meal, which was undercooked and cold. We ordered dessert which was also an incredibly long wait so eventually cancelled the order and returned to our room. 2 hours in the restaurant for an underwhelming main meal. Would not return. I felt sorry for the children in the restaurant who still hadn't been fed by nearly 9pm. Wait staff were great! Kitchen staff slow and not competent on the night we visited.

Excellent, excellent service, great food. Atmosphere very nice. Very happy with the restaurant, not so much with the hotel it is in since their handicapped rest room in the lobby was locked and I had walk back to the desk and had to wait for maintenance to unlock it, plus it was dirty when I got in. So, great restaurant, very strange attitude toward handicapped from the hotel itself. Why would the handicapped restroom be locked? Also, the restaurant was accommodating to gluten and dairy free dietary needs.

Really nice food. Came here with family and we ordered the Pizza, Burger and kids chicken nuggets. The food was delicious and if your staying at the hotel here I would recommend you eat here. Also this restaurant does room service.

Food was fine, but really disappointed by the ludicrous wait for it to arrive: >50 mins, and the restaurant didn’t look completely full.

Enjoyed the experience with great service. Staff were attentive to customers. Food was above average and would recommend if staying at the Mantra Hotel.

We were staying at the mantra after our Jetstar flight was cancelled and had dinner in the hotel restaurant. We didn't have high hopes given our past experiences but we were blown away. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I am lactose intolerant and the wait staff made sure to check with the chef to ensure that the seafood linguine that I ordered can be cooked dairy free. My husband ordered the Scotch steak rare and actually got it rare! We have been to many restaurants in the past where he would often get it medium rare (or even medium) when he ordered it rare. This has been a great experience to an otherwise awful night.

Dinner selection is minimal and food was very bland and small portioned for the price you pay. Orders also took almost an hour to arrive and after looking around didn't seem like they were short staffed either.
