Woodlands Long Day Care and Kindergarten Truganina

My enrolment experience was very poor. Called them 3 weeks in advance and got confirmation that slot was avaliable, so filled the form the next day and booked orientation. Called them again as I didn't receive any notification from centerlink. They said they haven't send it yet and will fix it. When I reached for orientation, they informed me that there is no slot available and has been put on waiting list. Very bad experience. Why was I not informed before atleast when I called them? The only response I got at reception is "we haven't sent a confirmation email which means that you are on waiting". My reply was "I didn't receive any comms for waiting as well but received loads of email on enrolment confirmations. "
Had a hard to time to find alternative in short time. Atleast show some empathy to put a parent in this suitation.

Very poor at communication, not at all happy with there service never informs regarding your billings and payments

This is not the first time Iam facing this issue, i have faced same issue 3 months ago with my accout. My direct debit is not taking money its been 3 months i think i contacted several times but no
Proper response i spoke with someone yesterday to update my details she just put me on hold for 10 mins and hungup the call and no call back and not even answered for 10 mins after 20min i tried again then they answered the call (but when i posted a review got call from within 1 hour) but not when i am facing issues

And also my baby dietery requirements are no pork and no beef but they updates several times in the app he eat beef when i ring them they just replied simply its a mistake, i can ignore the account issues and bad experiences but not this one

We have two kids at Woodlands and they both absolutely love it. When we moved into the area we looked around a few childcare centers and chose Woodlands because we liked the open space and the center appears very clean as well as regular staff!

There are really good initiatives that have started at Woodlands Long Day Care and Kindergarten Truganina.
1. The library corner is a great initiative for children and parents to use.
2. The excursion at Science works was fantastic for the children to enjoy, such a fun educational day out of the centre.
3. The mandarin classes in the kindergarten room are fantastic for children to start their foreign language skills early.
4. The large play area with the different types of outdoor activities for the children to enjoy is a great space.

Our older 2 kids attended here. Now our baby also attends here. We love our daily updates about his day. Puts our mind at ease. Would definitely recommend. #C.jsMom

Each day I am updated on any new learning that has occurred for my son for the day. He is currently in one of the nursery rooms and they have just introduced group time and the children look engaged every day. For this age group I think it's amazing! He is very happy at drop off and pick up

Friendly and caring center manager and educators. Clean and spacious learning space with a big play ground. Educators frequently provides update on my son learning experience and outcomes on different skills. We are greatful for the effort and care towards my son from Woodland truganina eductors.

I found Woodland day care an excellent place for my children.they have a wonderful team who acts as teacher as well as family to children. One of my son never wanted to go there, but the staff team helped me so patiently to settle him there. Food safety and food quality/ menu is very nutritious. They have a decent playground and no.of indoor activities done everyday to teach kids. My kids learnt a lot since they are going there. They had a very well managed system during COVID to protect kids.

Our daughter has attended woodlands since she was 9months old, she is now 1.5 years. We have been so happy with her transition to day care. Woodlands educator have been so welcoming and caring to our daughter and we are so thankful for this.

We have had nothing but a positive experience with Woodlands. It is very clean and offer a wide program for kids to learn. Communication with parents is great with the Xplorer app and it gives us reassurance that our daughter is in safe hands and enjoying her time with educators always updating us with photos and notifications.

Very well managed childcare with passionate and friendly educators. Have been sending my son here for the past 2 years after changing from another big name centre. The experience here cannot be faulted, staff are always willing to talk about any concerns you may have and discuss your child's development. Communication with parents is very good and I am genuinely impressed with the care and attentiveness of the staff. Fees are reasonable and management is great. Keep up the good work!

We have both our kids (aged 2 years and 6 months) enrolled at Woodlands Truganina and are thoroughly happy with the experience here. Especially for our now 2 year old, he has picked up language, etiquette, songs, vocabulary and so much more through this past year. He loves going to childcare everyday and we hear his room leaders' names everyday when he is back home chatting about what he learnt. They engage him in different activities and challenge his skills which he loves. Our 6 month old has recently started but we are hoping she will also pick up independent skills of eating, crawling, speaking through the trained structure and teachers in her room in the months to come. What we also love is that they listen to your suggestions and implement them with your child so that efforts at home and at care are aimed towards same direction. Lastly, their app keeps us up to date with each day's activities and meals which is so useful for us as parents. Highly recommend

We are very happy with the service and experience we have received from Woodlands. The staff are always helpful and greet us with a smile every time we arrive to the centre. The educators are vigilant with their updates on the Xplor app and we are so happy we get to be apart of our sons day while he is at day care. The educators provide creative activities and a warm and friendly environment that helps our son thrive. We are very proud of the progress he has made during his time at Woodlands and highly recommend the centre to anyone considering sending their children here.

Woodlands Truganina is a fantastic daycare and would highly recommend it. The educators and management are so easy to deal with. They keep you up to date with everything that's happening in the centre and the educators will keep you up to date on how your child is progressing throughout the day via the xplor app.

The daycare is so clean, smells amazing and has a great food menu for the kids. They have a great routine for every class room, kids get to experience different activities every day and has as great indoor and outdoor area for kids to run around and explore.

Very surprised to read the negative review, we don't go there to be greeted by the reception but to have the best for our kids. I've enrolled my 6 month old daughter and wohh what a growth i must say.everybody is really nice. Liam, Feh, so courteous, nice and soft spoken. Saanvi's educators Arpita, Simran and few others (sorry Iam missing the name), all of them are very cautious with the kids, feeds them nicely, play with them and also never forget to upload everything in xplor. Iam seriously impressed.

Just read the review below about it not greeting parents and no activities or being clean. Wow it's one of the cleanest childcare in the area. The food is healthy and kids are constantly being entertained and taught values and life's skills.

We take our daughter to the Truganina Centre. From the application process to the orientation to then her first day has been nothing but a smooth transition for both my husband and I, aswell as our excited daughter. Throughout the day, the carers update on an app from anything to your child's nappy changes/toileting, sleep and the activities they do with other children (photos of activities). It has definitely eased my mind! I also like that there isn't a strict timing to dropping and picking your child up. The play area outside is extremely spacious compared to most centres in the Truganina/Tarneit area which is a huge positive. My daughter is happy here.

Beautiful service backed by a dedicated team of teachers with a strong educational and learning focus. The service also uses Xplor which allows parents to keep touch with their children's learning and development throughout the day with photos and videos. Highly recommend.

Management is very rude as they are not greeting the parents. No portfolio, No resources, no activities, no cleaners, nothing organised and you have to wait to the reception for long as there is no one in there. They are just saving the money
