5We randomly pulled in and we were greeted with open arms from the locals, just a lovely casual place to meet veterans and club members and have a beer or two
A place where the barman knows how to pour a propper beer with the perfect head
So so so rare these days
It was a fantastic service for ANZAC Day, one of the best I've ever attended
I visited on Anzac Day, a lot of people around, Kyneton Municipal Band was playing, speakers from various groups & schools represented & Govt reps too.
Inside RSL I found the food to be good & the place overall appeared to be clean including toilets, also there was a backyard people could go, I saw children enjoying this space very much
Every 2nd Saturday of the month Chamber Poets is on at the Woodend RSL. Come along and have some fun. $5 entry.
