I am absolutely appalled by the lack of professionalism of Dr Markian Golets. That man is only in the profession to make a buck. I took my 13 year old son who was in a motorbike accident to see him to get dressing changed and order another xray on his fractured elbow. After spending literally 5 seconds looking at my sons wound I spoke to him about xray, he said come back Monday because I need to find the paperwork for this. I go back today (monday) for our appointment for him to take another 5 seconds to look at his would and go to walk out when I brought up the xray again, he hadn't chased up paperwork at all, he said I will have write you a referal so take a seat and I'll bring it to you.well he must have a memory problem because he didn't come back.we waited 30 minutes. I see him come out to bring another patient in to his room so I ask him about the referal to which he replies "you had your turn and now it's time to see this patient" I said I'm sorry but you said you were bringing me a referal, he told me to wait my turn. IT WAS MY TURN! As far as I knew I was still in my appointment and waiting for the referal to be delivered to me. I will be putting in a complaint to the health complaints commissioner. It was absolutely disgusting of him to see my son for 5 seconds and not actually do his job! These people get paid soooo much money for absolutely nothing!

The attitude from the receptionist working today (Thursday) 11: 45am was absolutely appalling. No doubt she is the reason for the abuse disclaimer when you wait on hold. Her tone and complete lack of empathy is sickening. Nobody is calling her with bad attitude or malice; SHE is creating it all with her horrible demeanour. What a horrible person and experience I hope never to have to deal with such a grotesque person as long as I live. Shame on her for being such an angry troll

This review is about the worst customer service I ve EVER received. The receptionist named Kerri was not only dismissive and lacked any understanding or compassion, she assured me I would get an update from the doctor or herself about medication that was going to run out on the weekend and neither bothered to call me back. I think this person needs to re-evaluate what she does as a profession, because working within the medical industry and with vulnerable people doesn't align with such disrespect and lack of empathy.

Used doctor Emily and got refused a xray referral because she "wasn't comfortable" giving me one in her words, just travelled 2 hours to my normal doctor to be told she red listed me on medication for painkillers despite never even asking or talked to doctor Emily about painkillers highly recommend using someone else

Reception staff can often be rude on the phone and I think they forget that we are the client

A big shout out to reception staff. Always friendly, and willing to do the best they can for their clients. It is really nice to have a very friendly voice on the end of the phone when you are not feeling so good. Well done everyone at WMG, all the best.

My 21 month old son has an ear infection and High fever. We tried to book him in at the clinic and they refused to see him until they saw a negative PCR Covid test which can obviously take 1-2 days.
We informed them that he actually had just recovered from Covid 3 weeks prior and we had actually RAT tested him prior to calling just to cover all bases but this wasn’t sufficient so he simply could not be seen.

Very poor service and no common sense applied. We then proceeded to the hospital for a 3+ hour wait clogging up the emergency ward for what should be for emergencies!
Funnily enough it never bothered them that he didn’t have a PCR test and they thought it was strange how the clinic wouldn’t see him given he had recently had Covid.

Really poor stuff guys

Very fast and efficient Tanya at front end is always very nice and professional and has time to entertain my daughter thanks so much.

Flu and booster shots for Covid today. Very happy with way clinic is run and doctor's friendly professional manner.

This is a great practice with lovely staff, but I wouldn't recommend seeing Peter Ward. He's just out to invalidate you. He seems nice and very honest until you realise that to him you're a statistic, not an individual. He'll frequently cut you off and apply one of his philosophies to your experiences without doing any real investigative work. Peter Ward is essentially just a guy with a superiority complex and a certificate. Peter aside however, this is a fantastic practice.

I feel so fortunate to have such a wonderful medical centre up here in regional Victoria! The reception staff are champions! I tried to get an after hours appointment last week which was tough due to the impact COVID has had on all clinics and health services- but they genuinely will attempt to move mountains if they know you’re unwell and I’m so grateful for the excellent care.
Dr Kara and Dr Lucy are professional and interpersonal doctors and are my fav!
Thank you so much WMG for all you do and for your excellent standard of care despite the challenges!

Showed up today no notice that they weren’t taking tests until 1pm on the government website. Didn’t even answer the two phone numbers provided and no one at the front. Such a waste of time.

UPDATE: response from clinic below further justifies poor rating. Poorly managed.

I was very pleased with the service offered by WMG. I was promptly scheduled for an appointment and was seen by Dr. Roger Chamoun, who is a huge asset to the team. I've never had a Dr.who has genuinely cared so much about the trajectory of my health, or finding a solution for my health issues. Thank you so much:)

Dr Kara Methven has been a blessing in disguise. I took my 10 year old daughter, recently moved to Australia, to see her, in order to consolidate my daughter's immunisation records and to administer any outstanding injections. She is a fantastic asset to the profession and the practice, who, immediately, put my nervous daughter at ease, with her caring manner. Highly recommended!

Not what I would describe as a friendly or welcoming reception. Really put me off. Going elsewhere

I have always found all the staff very friendly and helpful.
I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Wonthaggi medical group to family and friends.
We are very fortunate to have great doctors available to us, many regional areas aren’t so lucky.
