Wombat Honey Shop

Such a lovely little shop. The honey is excellent and the local bees greeting you at the door are an added bonus;) The effort put into the hut, the bottles and labelling are A+. These little experiences are a wonderful break on a road trip. Thank you!

This is a great little shop products are fantastic and so are the prices well worth a trip have a picnic and get your honey. I love the lemon creamed honey too yummy

We stopped in here (2nd visit in 3 yrs) because Marlo's honey shop was closed when it should have been open!
My only issue was the change factor. If there was something like a square reader where you could key in and pay by card it would be handy. Or a bank transfer & show the camera your receipt. Another family had the same problem, a $50 note! I donated $1 and left with 2 tubs of honey. I'm a happy customer!

Great little stop off on our way home from holidays. Large variety of honey and lovely jams. So good we make the effort to stop every time. Great to give as a gift

Just because you go in and out of shop, doesn't mean your stealing.and be told money was put in slot to quickly.l brought honey.don't like to be accused of stealing.get better cameras!

Without a doubt this has to be the cutest roadside store ever!
We had previously bought some honey from their stall at Lakes Entrance market and it was so good we decided to visit their ‘shop’ next time we were around.
What an absolute surprise to find this little store by the side of the road! It has a pretty large selection considering it’s size and is run by an honesty system (thankfully they have cameras installed for anyone choosing to steal). Only one person can fit into the store at a time so it’s definitely a unique experience - one I would truly recommend!
And yes, the honey is delicious! Personal favourites are the Mahogany and Hill Gum!

Just have to say omg the flavoured creamed honey is amazing! Bought the lemon and easter spiced one too, yummmm. Wow so good. Been having the lemon honey in a tea with fresh ginger. Thank you and thank you bees for the honey hunny

Farm fresh honey. Great range of products and unique self service road side store. Don't mind the bees buzzing about, they're just chasing honey and won't bother you.

Honey taste great on reasonable price. It's 2 and half hour away from my place but i am gonna come back to buy again

We add Wombay honey to our Christmas hampers and the 100 odd staff that receive a hamper, love it! Its great to buy from small locals.

Love this place, visited a couple years ago and got some honey. Always promised myself I would go back because it was so amazing. On second visit and tasting the honey we brought home I’m so happy. Such a fantastic brief little stop. Vote #1 wombat honey.

We stopped at the stall/shop whilst on a roadtrip to Melbourne, and it was the best decision:)
Bought the creamed honey and a 1.5kg tub of honey as well. Creamed honey? WOWW - everyone, if you ever stop buy, be sure to get the creamed honey - whether it be plain or flavoured (cinnamon, lemon etc). The texture and flavour is out of this world, be ready to be transported to honey heaven
